Why not edit your footage yourself?

It is not very hard.

In fact you can download pro software for free.

A lot of people don't have the time so they outsource to get the job done.

It would be quicker to edit your footage rather than spend hours uploading 4k footage to a server, then have the person who edits the footage download everything, then edit, then upload the finished footage for you to download, then upload to your site.

You keep saying it would be easier. However, there are times where people don't have the time or don't know how to edit. It would be easier for the person to outsource and pay someone to edit for them instead of trying to figure out how to do it. Also if the person wants to outsource to pay someone it's their right.
