A 20k Subreddit can absolutely be worth $300.

Subreddits that size, if its growing by approx 100 members a day, can easily earn $.50 - $1 a day from pinned posts. And within 6 months be earning double that.

The name is also very important. I bought a subreddit with 14k members 18 months ago for $250. It just went over 500,000 members 4 days ago. The name alone was worth the price I paid if it had no members, the 14k were just a bonus. OG names can be worth great money.


On the other hand - There are subreddits on GFY for sale by spammers who post pretty much daily that have 100,000 members that I wouldnt pay $100 for though.
