As Artificial Intelligence grows and is more perceived to be evil;
it will attract the attention of electronic vigilantism.
So who is likely to become the vigilante?
Seems like Anonymous would want to be the first to engage.

Hack how?

Through feeding misinformation to AI engines; they may be able to create mass flawed results.
Theories to feed flawed text seems possible but making flawed images/video may be more difficult, I would think.

Then the question of volume.
How much text/images/video is needed to actually produce a flawed result.
If the engine uses x amount of images to create one image then y is the number of images to inject to create flaws and thus useless content.

y = x(n%)

Infecting an entire AI system where "x" is in the billions seems like a tough road.
If the AI engine has "clean up" features to weed out misinformation then what?
Will AI engines use humans to removes flawed injections?

AI is simply a tool. So logic dictates that AI has already been hacked and hacking AI is currently happening. Most likely, as AI learns as it goes along, AI is being used to hack other AI.

Anonymous lately hasn't been focused on gaining access to things like AI but rather government secrets that would show truth. You say Dem's for example give misinformation - that is debatable considering what Republicans are coming out with.

Anonymous hates the organization or persons who are willfully hurting the people - so they'll go in for example and screw up Russian media etc. to get the word out on what Putin is really doing.
