to Ruth, since support didnt aswer me :upsidedow

I think ur app need more work before releasing it to us...

If I lost my phone device, was stolen etc, how I can recover my account If there is no recovery option on the website and I can't log in without it once its linked????

plus verification message and QR code doesn't work on my s23+

DVTimes 11-01-2023 08:28 AM

I logged into the site and it seems like you now need to download the app.

What if you do not want to or do not have a smart phone?

nikki99 11-01-2023 08:57 AM

it seems itīs mandatory now to have the app

WiredGuy 11-01-2023 10:58 AM

Banks are moving in this direction, but many offer physical authenticator tokens (for a fee). I'd personally prefer a physical token to authenticate over a mobile app.

Hi Captcha,

If you were to lose your device for any reason, you would simply be able to perform a new login from a new device, and the APP will prompt you to link that new device to your account. Since you need to produce a picture ID to link a device to your Paxum account, that ensures your account security.

The Paxum APP should work on all smart phones. If you have an open ticket about the verification message/QR code issue, please let me know the ticket ID and I'll ask support to review and assist you if they haven't already.

Thanks,
Ruth :)

If you don't have a smart phone, you can always use the Paxum APP on a tablet. :thumbsup

Yes, we are making it mandatory. You have 30 days to choose to 'Do it later'.

Unfortunately using a physical token isn't an option, however as mentioned above, if you don't want to use the APP on your phone, you can also use it on a tablet.

What if you don't have a smartphone or a tablet?

I'd say that it's pretty safe to assume that the majority (if not all) of our clients use a smartphone or smart device. It's almost 2024.. :thumbsup

Yeah, it's almost 2024, but that will not say that everyone has a smartphone and/or tablet, and if you have it it's the xxx app to install, i don't want all that apps on my phone, you never know what they are tracking or what can go wrong.

Banks also have an app, but you are always able to login trough a browser.

Why is Paxum forcing you to only use the app? This is a bit ridiculous...

Now i really would love to have the good old Payoneer back.

To correct any confusion here.

You don't have to login to your account through the APP itself, you can continue to login through the browser where you usually login.

We are introducing a new authentication process with strong customer protection. You link a device to your Paxum account and confirm it's really you with a picture ID. That device will then replace 2fa, and Transaction Approval Codes.

When you login, you will be sent a push notification with a code to allow entry.

When you perform a transaction, you will be sent a push notification with a code to approve the transaction.

Your account security is important to us. This new authentication process provides enhanced security. :thumbsup

Sorry for shouting.. I wanted that to be heard/seen :winkwink:

Sorry to say this, but very unproffesional to go shout as a representative from a company.

Anything that is mandatory is not good at all

PSD 11-03-2023 08:06 PM

Just noticed EFT's to US are re-enabled, when did that occur?

BigFurry 11-04-2023 02:13 PM

It would be good if we could still choose Google Authenticator 2FA instead of Paxum app.

Paypal, Amazon, Microsoft, Google all accept it as a 2FA method.

What if you do not want to or do not have a smart phone?

or if you don't want to send your selfie to anyone online, including paxum. We need to make a consensus about alternatives, and some other services. I am working on it, looking and sorting info

Every serious criminal must have at least a few of these old phones.
The real question is: is there a way to avoid sending our photos?

Not interested in excuses where someone will tell me it is for my own good. No, it isn't, I am always keeping money there in the amount that I am ready to lose. But I don't want my photo floating god knows where, it is much bigger problem than potentially lost money ( and I never had problem with paxum if I remember good)

please respond.

I Installed App in IPhone 13.
Added Login details as well passcode and finished verification process via passport. After finish this all, I can't login in mobile. Always showing loading screen and after that come this message "Login failed - Failed to login to your account, please try again"

I can't check my balance on desktop browser. Here also come loading view.

I tried to generate ticket but I am still getting loading screen so I can't generate ticket as well.

Please guide me what should I do here.

I have to have the paxum app open already for it to work when I login on pc, that kinda sucks. The prompt should come even if the app is closed or at least let us open the app after clicking login on pc.. :)

TypeinNL 11-05-2023 04:14 AM

I don't like this mandatory app rule with a countdown of 30 days. Also the reason i don't use a bank app because what will happen when my mobile phone is stolen or damaged? I must have access to my money at home at my computer. Maybe old skool but it's a safety rule and straight forward thinking. The verification (list) codes are working perfectly. I use the 2 factor google app for most services but for banking a standalone / external device.
