PayPal - money on hold - adult affiliate payment
 

Have you ever received a similar message from PayPal when receiving your affiliate payment?
Part of my affiliate payment arrived but one-third is on hold. They say I just crossed a certain monthly amount and they need to investigate more about the biz.

Paypal and adult should never be used in the same sentence...

Are you sure it's adult related?

As far as I recall, this happens on all new accounts when they cross some certain limit.

They want to collect some more information on you, and hold the money for a while, to make sure the money received isn't connected to some scam.

It's normal.

Paypal sucks, Paxum is much better option, especially for adult related transactions.

Did you received it on personal account ? Then that is a source of problem.

Dumb question but . . . is your account verified ??

mine was held once, but was over the weekend...

Sometimes, Sunday payments are held until the Monday, not sure why as most countries are 7 days a week retail now, but i suppose banking isn´t :2 cents:

I'm guessing thats via Epoch as they seem to be the only processor that is happy to offer paypal signups to adult websites. How they get away with it, ive no idea

We looked at them a while back but their rates for paypal were ridiculous compared to merchant account rates

what amount? if its a small amount like under 2k, it shouldnt be an issue if your account is verified, with verieid bank, address and card.

Paypal and porn are never a good union. As others have already said, best to avoid using it at all costs.

It is 2.1K and my account is verified. I do not like paypal for very high fees and avoid it. However, this particular sponsor gives paypal as only payment option.

I used to flip money from paypal and out as fast as possible ~10 years ago.

They suck even worse now.

Probably not related to adult, there is just certain limit on each account. My account is about 13 year old, verified and I got the same email this month because my monthly incoming payments are cloee to that limit.

Some sponsors use PayPal.

PayPal is more trustworthy than any other e payment platforms we use in adult.

Yep i got something similar on fresh personal account , when you receive first "commercial" payment you need to fil a form.

So I can get my money again. They just increased my monthly limit from 6k to 64k. That's all. No question asked...

It seems I am a similar case.
