I knew this would happen. Google boosted community sites.

Reddit, Github, Google Group, Linkedin, ...

Quora is the one that I've never seen spam showed up.

according to ahrefs they're barely getting any traffic.

most of their links are on toplist sites and in my experience those don't seem to help much with SE ranking.

If someone is searching for tubeorigin then they aren't clicking the 7th link down. Maybe a few will. Also that page you highlighted shows how many views it's had

Parasite spam. I used to do this with Tumblr and weebly. The easiest way is just to reg a user name on Reddit with the keyword you want to rank and index it.

Similiar Web says they get about 4.5 million visitors a month.
