As a teenager, I recall there were even differences in drinking laws. Since it's tied up with the prostitution law, which most certainly is not based on whether you paid for vaginal intercourse, or anal intercourse, or getting shit on -- paying for sexual services (which is now defined as "acts") is the crime.
