Made my first video with VEO 3
 

I got to use a paid VEO 3 account today and I have to say... some parts of it are very impressive, others... not so much. Learned a ton but I'm already almost out of credits.

Really want someone to pay me to make stupid videos!

Threw together something trying to be funny... hopefully it makes even one GFY'er laugh!

Working on creating more bizarre footage and getting a feel for using the video AI with the speech. Sometimes the generation is too crazy and it times out trying to make your masterpiece... Here's one of the first bizarre videos I've been working on so I can get a TikTok account setup and post all of my wildest AI videos, eventually.

Just my first video I whipped together, in fact, I didn't actually use the right Veo 3 vendor, I used some shitty Chinese front end Veo 3 that lacked a bunch of promised features!

For example... look how bad image to video is STILL in 2025...



Got a bunch of other stuff I have to finish first, but I definitely want to explore making funny shorts with Veo 3 on various topics. I didn't set out to make a cat eating video, I just started by making fun of a troll I follow on Twitter and it sort of snowballed into Sizzlin' Allan's and eating cats and mice.

Well, rehashed racist shit is just not as funny as it was in 1950.

And whether or not the generation fails... happens a LOT more than I expected... but I've been going for crazy over-the-top shit... some of the dramatic shots it can do are great!

You send me money and I'll drop a review of a bunch of AI video sites and show their member's areas. The AI I signed up for advertised more capabilities than they delivered in their member's area. I will not be renewing. Onto the next!

I can't be affording to drop $50+ dollars on like 20 different AI video sites... but I wish I could! That would be one helluva fun comparison and test.

See, if you aren't keeping up with the whole AI generation thing, the people that provide the Veo 3 model access know that once you get generating, you're going to want to stay in-the-zone for creativity, so you have the choice between models that charge per movie, which is upwards of $10 per 1 video, 8 seconds, or Google's Ultra AI, which allows 5 generations a day, for about $160 a month, so like, a bit more than $1 per generation.

Then again... $400 a month... that's a lot of gas station vodka and sitting around on GFY being broke shitposting... got so much stuff to pay for with my daughter coming up, need to get one of my cars running again... but the AI crackpipe... :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

If I could make 1 AI advertisement a month for $400 bucks for like a 1 minute ad... that would be enough to pay for the entire AI setup, and I'd have a ton of generations left over for my own shit!

Not really.

1. You'd need to find a client that would want to pay for your ad.
2. Monetization of AI content on Youtube just got nerfed. Too many lazy people wanting to make a quick buck generating bland content made Google decide to cut off all incentive to do it.
3. If you intend to promote products with your ads, you'll need to figure out how to actually get eyeballs on your stuff... which I doubt you've done.

Back to the drawing board you go!

Dugmor... I promise you... I will deliver some sort of amazing 8888 project for you. Today I had a horrible day as I was working for another client and I had a deliverable of 20 units of content and, for some reason, my 19th unit of content wasn't passing my fucking quality check. I run a website that is a 100% mirror of my client's website, so I deliver 100% one-click import XML, but this one post was fucking up... and I was investigating it with Cursor using the GROK 4... and, I don't know what I did, but the AI basically ass raped me and completely hollowed out my code and changed everything... the problem being that I had made 7-8 great strides forward, but then the AI went crazy and changed everythiing when I requested to be able to separate my GIF uploads from my PNG uploads, because under certain circumstances the full image upload would fuck things up by uploading all of the PNGs and GIFs at the same time, but that's another post...

Once I get my shit together in the next 1-2 weeks, I'll sign up for the Veo 3 AI Ultra package from Google and we'll sort out the 8888th post video!

The problem being, is that my daughter's birthday party is coming up, and it is an RV trip surprise for her with hidden gifts and a bunch of clues to find them... we're planning a big event here! 3 day camping trip in Canada with food, fees, and gas, is easily $500... closer to $700.

That shit is going to cost the whole $xxx cash for the work I'm doing USD with enough left over for gas station vodka and mind-healing THC vapes, so I need to come up with some other gig to make the first $400 so I can get my foot in the door with 10 Veo 3 generations with audio. $400 Canadian. If I could buy this now I'd start my 10 generations per day with something crazy to post on GFY and drum up some business. 10/gens a day for $400 a month, someone with a room-temperature IQ should be able to turn that into some okay cash, right?!?!
