🚨 OnlyFans to Introduce Criminal Background Checks for Creators
This is potentially huge!
OnlyFans has announced a major update to its safety and verification processes: the platform will soon require criminal background checks for all creators. This move follows pornhub’s recent policy changes but goes a step further by applying screenings directly to individual content creators, whereas Pornhub will only be doing criminal background checks on studios. Partnering with Checkr Trust, #OnlyFans says the goal is to strengthen safety, identity verification, and community protection. The platform already uses strict ID checks and biometric scans, but this new requirement adds another layer of screening—aimed at preventing fraud, sex trafficking, and other violent criminals from doing business on their platform. With over 4 million creators worldwide, there are still questions about how this will be implemented, who will be affected, and which offenses could disqualify someone. Good news. I hope it also includes anyone who has access to their accounts too.

Wow, this is huge! Because only governments have access to criminal background checks. So, someone will ask for that access or wait for creators to send the "white paper"?

All this id bullshit is a business opportunity if there's a country or two brave enough to host. And if the typical user can figure out how to use vpn. Which i doubt. |

They got really nailed on that GirlsDoPorn thing. |
but don't worry OF still allows creators and anyone else to wear masks during scenes, which is maybe the stupidest thing ever.
Not sure how they can verify who the person is wearing a balaclava but that's just me I guess. |

I bought a gun from a "rinky dink" pawn shop and had to come back the next day to get it; because my background check hadn't come through yet. Usually it only takes minutes; but they said the system was slow that day. :2 cents: |

Multiply your population by 35 times and move next to Mexico and get back to me. Piss 2 billion Muslims off by sucking Israel's cock and get back to me. Drop a couple of nukes in the biggest war crime in world history and get back to me. Breed serial killers like John Wayne Gacy and Ted Bundy and get back to me. Create your version of the Crips, Bloods, MS13 and Mafia and get back to me. Have a mass shooting or school shooting every day and get back to me. Let Bernie Madoff manage your money and get back to me. Hire 2 million female American teachers and get back to me. etc...etc... :1orglaugh |

Man, Greece is the gate from East to West, the final border to Asia and Islam. Next to us, we have Turkey, which is the old opponent. Also, in the northern Balkans, there were so many wars, and new countries were formed from those wars. Yes, we have sun, beaches, and good food, but not all is paradise here either. Europe has a different mindset from the USA, a different lifestyle, all different. If u want my opinion? I prefer the USA mindset and lifestyle to Europe, but we have all that now. I think in many countries in EU, they don't want a criminal background check, only for civil servant jobs they need that, but now all are online and easy, gov knows who the other is for a job in civil servant. I don't know how OF will do this check by the way. |

She made collards greens and hot water cornbread. Yo mamma only made broccoli with cheap ass Kraft Mac and cheese mix. You powdered cheese eating mofo! :1orglaugh I left NYC out; because I lived there for a 5 years and then lived through gang wars and the LA riot. My LA apartment manager warned me, and I said that I'm from NYC and have seen it all. Then I found out that I hadn't seen shit yet! "Colors" : ain't no lies about the violence in that movie, although it misses the mark on social-economic factors. :Oh crap |

These background checks here in America are to keep certain unwanted citizens out of certain jobs.

Is it to force these "unwanted" people to fight in some war, because it is only what will be left? |

But I digress, this thread is more for digital ID. |
Oh damn there goes about 40% of OF's revenue.

Now easy criticism: when this girlsdoporn guy started his crap, was He a registered criminal/felon ? My guess is no... And in this case: -1 It is useless -2 It is not going to be enough (yeah enough) Also expect feminist shenanigans, when you produce content. |

Thats how you get the violent society that you have... At best, it prevents somewhat honest people to do bad things |

Doing criminal background checks would not have stopped them doing business with Riley Reynolds of Hussie models either. Sure, he had 5 or so felonies on his record, but the state of California and Florida approved him for a talent agent license, despite doing a criminal background check, because to them, they weren't violent offenses, so that works for them. Fast forward, and he's now involved in at least 3 sex trafficking investigations that I know of. So that being said, what's the point of these criminal background checks? In the case of Pornhub specifically, it would have solved this issue in advance. They could have simply said we did our due diligence. When we started doing business with these guys, they had no signs of a criminal history. So again, to me, this is just a save their ass move by big companies, but I also get it. If doing this now can save them potential legal trouble, why wouldn't they do it? In one case alone, it would have saved them penalties of $1.8 million to the government and a rumored $14 million to the individual women in the case. And that's just ONE case. So yeah, I get why they are doing it. It's in their financial best interest. Do I think it will do shit to actually protect the women in our industry? No, I do not. Riley Reynolds proves that. If two separate states approve a 5-time felon for a license ... then that tells you everything you need to know about how this system will work for the industry. |
Ok, now imagine that this background check becomes the standard of the industry.
It seems reasonable to say that you don't any sex offender or violent criminal in the sex industry (because implicitly we associate the information (violent) with (adult industry) ) Of course we dont want that. Like in the US, you don't want to associate (violent individual) with (guns). Also reasonable... You could say, that only people without any significant background problem should work in the industry. Now imagine, you and your clean background: - you film - the girl signs a contract (performed sex scene, you describe all the sexual position that she will do) - the woman (in your back), starts to drink booze and smoke weed. - she performs as expected and doesn't seem shy, at all. But she looks theatric, looks much more drunk that she looks when there is no camera. She mimic what people would associate with drug or alcohol. She says sentence: "oh I am so high", then falls unconscious in the middle of a scene while she can otherwise perfectly stand. - 3 days after, you get a lawsuit: rape, you drugged her and she couldn't give her consent (she lies as less as possible, so it's better to target the non scrupulous people of the industry first). - like every players of the industry, every 3 months, you have to comply to a background check. Oh, but it seems you have a lawsuit. The feminist group "protect women from the phallocratic industry", reported that you have been sued. - you are out of business and you are possibly a rapist. Would you work with a possible rapist? I wouldn't! What about random drug testing? |

A gun charge isn't the same as a violent criminal act. You have to rape someone by force or something like that. I mean Gianna Dior has a gun charge but isn't a violent offender. War Machine = violent criminal. But even then, I think the main things they are looking for are fraud, sex trafficking, and registered sex offenders. |
They are using the same company as Uber/Lyft so here is what they use.
Uber drivers are prevented from working with certain crimes, including convictions for murder, sexual assault, and terrorism. Other disqualifying offenses include violent felonies within the last seven years. Drivers may also be disqualified for being on the National Sex Offender Registry or for a history of multiple driving violations. Disqualifying criminal convictions: Severe and violent crimes: Murder, kidnapping, and terrorism-related offenses are disqualifying regardless of when they occurred. Sexual offenses: Any conviction for a sexual offense will result in disqualification. Violent misdemeanors or felonies: You cannot have a conviction for a violent crime or felony within the last seven years. |
No good will come of this.
|
This could be a Title VII Civil Rights discrimination class action. National origin is a protected class and if OF is ONLY implementing criminal checks on Americans -- well you can see the problems with that.
It looks like the background check company has been sued numerous times for false information... https://consumerattorneys.com/article/checkr-lawsuit https://temeculaconsumerattorneys.co...minal-history/ |

At first, to open an account, they need a photo profile, cover, and one social media to check if it is a real person. Of course, ID or passport, and VAT number. |
