The goal is to detach ourselves from worldly desires mainly possessions, sexual lust, and gluttony (food, alcohol, etc). Focus on making a positive difference for living things while you are in this Earth. I need to do better.

There are so many veterans and industry people who've left us - sadly some forgotten while others felt like family. To many to mention - but I find as I get older that I am more reflective of the industry's days gone by and how different it is than today. Miss those days and the ones that made them memorable. Let's still remember we're family

I think about Quiet all the time. Looked up to him, was glad to know and chat with him and inspired to see his success and enjoyment his retirement. Gone way too soon :(

I love pizza.

It's an obsession of mine. I have a pizza mouse pad, pizza shirts, pizza sweatpants... I have a fucking pizza onesie.

Every day someone hits me up and says "Hey, I just had pizza for dinner and it made me think of you". Every day.

I could care less is anyone remembers me. But every time my kid eats pizza... My kid will think of me.

What a crazy fucking reply.

Quiet was a cool dude, I still remember some funny moments with him from almost 20 years ago.

I think I remember a post of his describing his rise to wealth and good fortune, what a story!

Have to remember to be more grateful in 2026 of all the time we have left, nobody knows when the universe is going to punch your ticket. Could be 30 years from now, could be tomorrow... RIP to all GFY'ers gone too soon.
