PDF forms like W-9
 

I keep running into situations where I need to fill out PDF forms like W-9 or contracts.

Printing → signing → scanning feels outdated.

Is there a simpler way people handle this?

There are numerous e-sign platforms out there, some are free and others are paid. DocuSign, Dropbox Sign, and Acrobat Sign seem to be the best.

Most PDF readers also support signatures, including Acrobat, but they aren't automated through a service.

If you're looking for something lightweight, try PDFocused.

I used it a couple times for filling a W-9 and it worked fine.
