Super Bowl, Who's It Gonna Be!

Here's who left standing:

Philly
Carolina
New England
Indy

I'm thinking it's going to be Carolina & Indy. I want New England in there, but they lack the offense to overcome Indy.

AdultNex 01-13-2004 01:57 PM

Colts or Patriots.

If any Eagles fans show up in here and claim the Eagles are going to dominate... :1orglaugh

The Colts are looking pretty hard to beat right now. Has anyone else watched both their games? It's hard to beat a team that scores a TD everytime they get the fucking ball.

They may win the NFC but there's no chance an NFC team is going to win the big game this year. Sorry but the AFC championship is the super bowl this year. Philly and Carolina don't stand a chance.

You're saying the only team to go 15-2 lacks offense?

ok then.

As much as I like Indy, I predict it will be NE vs the bEagles....

final score:

philly:__ 28
ne:____ 21

You heard it hear first.

maxdaname 01-13-2004 02:26 PM

I'm saying they lack offense compared to Indy...plus I want NE to win real bad, so I don't want to curse them by saying they are clear and away a better team....which they are not.

My money is on Indy, Peyton Manning exemplifies skills and confidence way beyod his years... and don't even get me started on my UM boy Edgerrin James!
I would like to see Carolina beat Philly and and then watch Indy stomp them in the Superbowl :thumbsup

Ummm...isn't this the same type of thing that people were saying two years ago, when the Rams played the Pats in the Superbowl? Everyone said the NFC would dominate. Everyone said that the Rams would crush the Pats. Everyone said that the Pats didn't have a chance. And look what happened there...

Never underestimate the team with the biggest heart.

Based on that, I say it's the year of the Eagle...

It could get interesting, that's for sure. I shouldn't be jinxing the Colts by being to confident anyway, I put some money on them to take it before the season started. That's how you get the good payoffs boys. :glugglug

E-A-G-L-E-S!!!!!!!!!!!!

we could save alot more time by just listening to me. the eagles will beat the patriots.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO YEAH!

WEEK 13 everyone and their mother picked Colts over Pats in Indy.

Result:
New England 38, Indianapolis 34

Pats will win again at home.
Also, Eagles will win.

According to their season record.... they are.

The dolts offense will have to face the NE defense, not their offense, and the NE defense is strong. I believe that according to the stats the NE defense is stronger than the dolt's defense. Not a big deal in pre-game conversation, but in the game it could very well be a very big deal indeed. NE's defense has more sacks, the Dolt's offense has more touchdowns, both teams are about equal for time-of-possession, at least in the post-season games they've played. (although, NE has only played one game while the Dolts have played two due to their lesser winning record).

If home field advantage has any meaning at all, NE has it. Obviously the game could go either way, but since it is only sporting as a fan to predict the outcome based on one's knowledge of the game my pick stands.

NE------- 21
IND------ 20

PHI------ 35
CAR------ 27

If home field adv. stands up, which it should here (crowd noise, grass v. turf & most importantly, weather)...NE wins! But I can't help worry about that strong Indy offense marching up and down the field...even against that super strong NE defense. NE was pretty damn lucky to come away from that first meeting wtih a win...but that's whay they play the game:thumbsup

New England vs. Philly

CDSmith 01-13-2004 03:58 PM

http://www.nfl.com/teams/news/NE
"the Patriots are headed to the AFC championship with a 17-14 win over the Titans. "It was a big kick," coach Bill Belichick said. "We get in those kind of situations -- that's what he's here for. And he's certainly come through many times for us." And it will be another home game and probably another chilling affair. With 13 wins in a row, it is hard to beat the Pats no matter what the conditions are or where the game is."
Either way, it's going to be a great game.

Mike AI 01-13-2004 04:00 PM

I would like to see Manning make it, but in the cold I am worried about their offense.

Colts - Panthers would be a good match. 2 QBs from Louisiana!

Rankings 01-13-2004 04:01 PM

eagles have a good shot at it, but any way you look at it, the playoffs are going to be good games.

Horny Dude 01-13-2004 04:26 PM

INDY all the way! I put money on them in vegas to make it so they had better make it!:2 cents:

I have no fucking idea about any of this but I'll say Philly!

:thumbsup
