Not that the actual testing has anything to do with Sharon Mitchell, since I'm sure the lab they use are the ones handling that part, but I was really surprised by some of the stuff I read about this chick. At first I thought people may be being a little too tough on her about the "doctor" thing, since it's very common for the person running a clinic or acting as the administrator, not to be an MD.

Then I read about her background and qualifications and I couldn't believe it. In 1996 she was still a heroin addict and stripping for a living, and now suddenly she's "Dr. Mitch". Bullshit. She was still doing porno movies even after she started working as a professional within her industry. from my understanding RNA testing is viral load test is added to the processing of each unit of blood, thus making it much more difficult task to test.
yes AIM did mess up BIG time, my guess was they had received results from the DNA and not from the RNA and since she is in the public eye they released that particular info with out waiting for the rest of the results to come in. basically they jumped the gun on this one

They have fucked this investigation up from Day 1 - put more lives at risk, her first announcement of a 30 day quarantine was wrong and not until a day later did she fucking realize that a 60 day quarantine was necessary to control an outbreak.

She waited almost 3 FUCKING WEEKS to add Mark Anthony to the first generation list ALLOWING people who worked with Anthony to go unquarantined.

Sharon Mitchell is a menace as is AVN - this is not malicious, it is my opinion, that two organizations interelated are incompetent to deal with a situation this serious.
