What??? Insite Adult Went Bankrupt??
 

Just got a Notice of Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Case from the Bankruptcy Court of Georgia concerning Insite Adult and meeting of Creditors.

I know I haent been to the SHows this year, but I was shocked to get this one.

Had no idea they went under? The people there were real cool people..

When the hell did this happen?

Had some good times with the Insite Adult crew. They had some pretty good parties as well.

Still shocked.

Is it the becasue of the changing dynamics of the 4 free sites that did em in??

What happened?

If you search, you'll see lots of threads about them not paying or paying after 200 e-mails asking to get the payment.

That's usually not good for an online business.

I'm pretty sure that's the tip of the iceberg.

Those guys made a killing. They were not paying affilates.They had payment probelms ever since they came out with their email program

I got the letter as well.

Over the course of about two years, I had quite a few ICQ conversations that went something like this:

Me: Hey Frank, I still haven't received those checks....can you check with accounting for me, please? It's been months now, and I really don't want to pull my links, I'm doing great with your 4Free reality sites.
Frank: No man, don't pull your links, we'll sort this out.. Are you sure your address on file is correct?
Me: Well, it was last time you asked me to check it, but I'll check again.
...
Me: Frank, there seems to be something screwey with your database, all the address fields are blank.
Frank: Strange. Tell you what, email me your name and address particulars, and I'll have accounting take care of it ASAP.
Me: Thanks, will do.

3 months later: repeat performance

3 months later: ditto

etc.

Finally, this must be about a year ago now, there was a notice on the site from a law firm that the site had been closed down. There was quite a bit of grumbling here on GFY about the fact, then their lawyer came here and posted that we weren't allowed to call them thieves. He was told to go fuck himself :Graucho

was Insite Adult formerly known as EZGreen, or was that someone else?

The biggest problem with this business. Throw some money at a party and everyone thinks you're solid.

Not sure, but I don't think so....I signed up with Insite in August 2001, and I'm pretty sure I heard about EZGreen after that. I could be wrong though, I wish the search function would be enabled again.

wasn't Insite Adult the first sponsor that had the "pay per email" program. I think it was called "4free hardcore" or something like that

naw, ezgreen wasn't around in 2001 afaik.

i just typed in ezgreen.com though and i was redirected to adultplex.com, so i was wrong.

They pulled this shit on me too

I got that letter last week or so. I had problems with insite adult so I stopped promoting them almost as soon as I started.

you guys are complete idiots, the ones that combined ezgreen with Insite and cybererotica. Neither one has anything to do with the other, and all 3 are few of the original and oldest programs in this biz

i simply asked if insite was previously ezgreen, because i couldn't remember.

i'm neither a kid nor an idiot. i was pushing ezgreen back in 97/98.
