1:30am and the fireworks have finally stopped
 

have to love bonfire night here in the UK. It felt like I was in a war zone all night. It will start all over again tomorrow night since it is on a weekend.

Every year, on 5th November, we Brits celebrate bonfire night (aka Guy Fawkes night) to commemorate someone (Guy Fawkes) who tried to blow up the Houses of Parliament and the entire British government with vast amounts of gunpowder, by lighting bonfires and setting off fireworks.

Understand why and you're halfway to understanding the British sense of humour :winkwink:
