ICQ server troubles
 

Is it just me, or is anybody else having troubles connecting to ICQ for the past maybe 2 weeks ????

When I try to connect, alot of the time the flower just spins, and does not connect, or if it does connect at all, it takes about 10 seconds to do so ...

Gary has been SPAMING ICQ users with his TGP sites...so that tends to slow down the network some... http://bbs.gofuckyourself.net/board/tongue.gif

I keep getting the same messages from the same 3 people delivered 100's of times a day. I was told by TaDoW that he expierence this too... and that it'll go away....

But right now... I'm wishing these 3 people had NEVER written me!!!!!

Ya happens to me too, seems ever since AOL took over ICQ the connections have been really shitty. :P

AOL took over ICQ years ago .... the connection problems I am having are only in the past 2-3 weeks ...

anybody else noticed a real drop off in ICQ connectivity in the past few weeks specifically ??

yeah i have experiencing some problems too. some times it just gets stuck and fucks up my whole windows system... fucking windows....

been fucked for months now really

I have problems with it for like 6 months now.
I can connect to icq but sometimes I don't get msges.
Is really annoying.
I think the stupid advertising on icq is causing the problems.
Their server is overloaded since 9 out of 10 times the ad at the bottom doesn't load.

I had alot of problems recently, but troubles seem to have stopped 4-5 days ago.. That flower spins for a while, turns red and that's it.. And I did recive the same messages several times, as brettj mentioned..
Now it works almost as good as the old icq versions..
