Smart or totally screwing the visitor
 

Another one that tries to screw visitors with a dial. It's this kind of dialer ads that screw up a lot of people's appetite to buy anything online

This kind of trickery and misleading advertising should be put to a stop. Sure, this will convert, and this will make money, but for how long?! People will feel screwed, and people will be on their toes VERY scared to get screwed again. And then what? Then we'll have a whole market of people that feel the adult industry will fuck 'em in the ass. It's not free content that's screwing this market. Free content has been around since day one. It's the blunt disregard of any trace of business ethics that's making it harder to make a sale. I truely hope the FTC will be able to stop shit like this.

It is smart... I almost went for it.

But I don't think they should allow advertising like this.

Screwing the visitor for sure.
One good thing is that when you start the program you see right away that they charge $3.99/min.
Rip off for sure but the users don't have to scroll a mile to find it.

How are they being screwed? It always says the price on the dialer without the need of scrolling down, even if they are using blind link to advertise it.

... I never have used any dialers on my pages and never will. in the end it´s the webmasters choice to put them up or not, and I believe charging a surfer 10 bucks per minute is criminal.

... but fighting this stuff is useless, and by posting it here you´ll find more people thinking "hmmm, that´s smart, let´s try it ..." instead of reporting it to the FTC ...
