Why does the sight of a big fucking spider fuck me up so much ??

I don't give a shit about any other insect you'd maybe see once in a while in the house, but a big friggin' spider, different story...

I got bitten by 3 Brown Recluses in a matter of three weeks. Each was less severe than the one before it. I think I am now immune.

you're usually immune after the 1st bite, i got bit by a recluse one day, wound up in the hospital (calf swelled up size of a grapefruit) swelling finally went down 4-5 days later and I got bit by a black widow and wound up in the hospital again :1orglaugh. Since then i've been bitten by recluse's 5 or 6 times and never had anything worse then some mild itching for a day or 2

I don't mind spiders...Jimmy and Naughty's spiders look quite nice. However, I'm not very fond of large cockroaches and I CAN'T stand crickets. Yikes!!

we are genetically wired to be scared of spiders...most of us are, anyway. its cuz many of them are poisonous and being scared of them keeps us alive...plus all those eyes and hairy legs are scary as hell

One morning I woke up in Haiti and SIX tarantulas in my sleeping bag and found another one in my boots. Yeah, I freaked out. My buddies found it quite entertaining.

Funny part is, that isn't the spider itself. It is one his skins. They crawl out of their own skin almost every year. I'm scared shitless for that thing and I never touched it in the 9 years that I have it now, it was a gift.

The real thing is living in a closed 1 ft fishtank, doing whatever the fuck he is doing ;)

8-98, I don't think they are poisenous, getting bit is like a bee-sting.


I have to admit that once you have one of these for so many years, they turn out to be pretty interesting. I'm not ever going to hold it, but it doesn't look like a spider to me anymore, more like a small hairy scary creature:)
