I remember back in the Fall of 2002 sitting at my desk at my fulltime job and staring at a sheet of paper.

I had worked at this particular mainstream internet company for 3 years and I was about to give them my 2 weeks notice that I was leaving. I was about to become a fulltime adultwebmaster. I had written on that sheet of paper in big bold letters what my income goal was.


$20,000/month.


That was all I typed on the piece of paper. At the time I was making about $2000 a month.

I remember talking to my coworkers and them laughing and saying "yah right" how are you going to make that much money? I have learned not to let doubters and haters phase me. I'm on a mission. I stay the course.

Less than 2 years later I reached my goal.

I firmly believe it's beneficial to have a concrete goal in your mind of the amount of money you want to make in this business. I choose an amount and continually replay it in my mind as I go about my work on a daily basis. If I find something that helps me get closer to my goal - I keep doing it! If it doesn't I stop doing it and try something else.

But making goals can apply to just about anything... goals on how many hours a week you work, how many sites you own, sales per day, etc, etc. Write your goal down on a piece a paper and place it by your computer, stick it on your fridge - whatever you need to do to help program your mind and motivate yourself to reach that goal.

It works for me and I highly recommend that you try it.

Awesome man. I have tremendous respect for people who set a goal and nothing can stop them from achieving it.

90% of the people do not have goals, that's my majority never succeeds.
And your are right PornHero, the best thing you can do is set a specific as possible goal for yourself and write it down each day in the morning. That's one of the main secrets to success.

What's your $$ goal right now? Keep working at it - learn from your mistakes, tweak and apply techniques/principles you learn work in one method of making money to other methods of making money. Spread your shit out, dont just make money from one source/method. :winkwink:

lol..... 20.000 ..... i finally figured out my goal, its $500 a month... hey im doing this parttime dont hate!

I built freesites. That's how I got started making solid money. I built and submitted freesites to the linklists until I was ready to throw up. Then I built and submitted some more.

Make sure they are optimized for search engine terms. Make sure you presell. Make sure you follow the rules so you get accepted! Keep building and submitting, it works. I must have built/submitted 120 freesites to 70-80 linklists each time - by hand. I started off with tgp then did avs (btw its good to have experience in all moneymaking methods) but freesites is what got me going... i went freesite nuts then i branched out from there based on what I learned & the ideas I got from all that building (and you WILL learn).

Whether you can make the same money now is a different question but that's what I'd do if I was just starting out right now knowing what i know. Dont even worry/stress about how much money you are making til you've built/submitted 100 freesites which should take you at least 6 months. You gotta pay your dues, there is no way around it. :thumbsup

The majority of my favorite sponsors can be found at - MyFavoriteSponsors.com - I just built that site yesterday, I will be adding more sponsors when i have the time. :)

Pornhero, I have a question for you : Can you have a second sponsor on my freesites !? Maybe adding a pills sponsor or anything like this..

Good stuff. It took me three years to reach a goal I wanted to reach. Now I've finally reached it and can live decently, it's much easier to focus on making more....Just keep working at it just like back when you were hungry and you'll stay ahead of the curve.

you can use as many sponsors on a freesite as you like as long as you own the content and dont go over the link maximum per page which is usually 3. :2 cents:
