Multiple Class C's and a little something extra.

Got Web Host is proud to announce the inclusion of free SEO consultations with all hosting packages.

Effective immediately, any virtual or dedicated hosting package will come with a free consultation by our Director of Support and Marketing, Tanya Martin, a full time SEO with seven years experience.

Virtual packages will come with a one-time, one hour consultation; and all dedicated packages will allow you one free hour a month for the life of your contract. The standard fee for this service is $300 per hour.

This SEO consultation includes discussing SEO problems you need solutions for, such as: link building strategies, content optimization recommendations, and site structure recommendations. We will suggest and recommend what you can do to improve your search engine optimization, or help you overcome a problem you have or may not know you have.

Got Web Host provides hosting plans for companies concerned with Google's host crowding penalties associated with search engine optimization. Got Web Host now offers Multiple Class C IP's to their users. Many companies specializing in SEO have requested or search for hosting that provides this type of service, we bring it to you with many different packages.

Got Web Host provides the following features:

- Virtual packages with up to 15 IPs, 15 individual Class C Subnets and multiple or private nameservers. Multiple data centers.

- Dedicated packages with up to 50 IPs, with up to 10 individual Class C Subnets and multiple private nameservers.

- Customized packages with up to 33 Class C subnets are available upon request.

For additional information please go to http://www.gotwebhost.com, email [email protected] or call Toll Free: 888.467.8532

If you are an existing customer, this offer is retroactive. :)

That's a nice extra, baddog -- I'd say an hour of Tanya's time is cheap at $300 -- but given away, it's a deal closer -- good stuff -- :thumbsup

Okay, not trying to pick a fight, but you've already supposedly signed up for his services twice now, and this would be the third time.. What's with that?..

No, he may have mentioned two or three times that he signed up for our hosting on Sunday, but he only did it once.

It is all about the support, and the fact that we are providing a service you are not going to find elsewhere.

Obviously he hasn't tried many hosting companies.

Geocities and Angelfire are not something you compare other hosts to.

Obviously you don't know what you are talking about. Would you mind pointing out a company that can provide hosting packages like these?

Actually, that is why we do provide the level of customer service and support that we do. We have dealt with many hosts over the years, and we know what it is like to be left high and dry.

We provide the type of service that we would want to receive if we were the customer.

Sosa 05-16-2005 01:57 PM

hey baddog, do you or your sales team have a ICQ #? I need to talk to someone about what place would be the best for me.

cherrylula 05-16-2005 02:38 PM

very, very nice. I wouldn't even give up my seo strategies to my grandma if she begged, so getting some consulting for free like that is seriously cool.

:)

Looks great baddog!
Good luck with it! :thumbsup

Looks like the SEO hosting package wars have begun!

Gottis 05-16-2005 03:45 PM

Do individual Class C subnets really matter THAT much? I'm no expert by any means, but I have heard people say that it doesn't really affect things too much (in your favor). Nothing worth going crazy about anyway.

Anyone?

Well, that depends on if you want to believe Google or not. We believe them, and have tested the theory by moving sites to different hosts (to get them on different Class C blocks) and noticed an immediate improvement on our SERPs.

Well, we will try to keep it down to a mild disturbance. :)

But yeah, it is going to be pretty tough to beat this offer.

From Google Web APIs...

2.3 Automatic Filtering - <filter> Back to top

The <filter> parameter causes Google to filter out some of the results for a given search. This is done to enhance the user experience on Google.com, but for your application, you may prefer to turn filtering off in order to get the full set of search results.

When enabled, filtering takes the following actions:

Near-Duplicate Content Filter = If multiple search results contain identical titles and snippets, then only one of the documents is returned.
Host Crowding = If multiple results come from the same Web host, then only the first two are returned.

Thank you Jack, I guess I have answered the question so many times that I have gotten lazy.

Something I think should be pointed out, because 9/10 times that I hear some "expert" argue that there is no host crowding, and that if/when it happens is if filtering is enabled.

They are right. It only happens if filtering is enabled. This brings the logical question, what if filtering isn't enabled?

The fact is, the filtering is a default with Google, and you could probably fit everyone that goes thru the trouble of turning it off in a telephone booth.

I don't know why there's any question. They TELL you they have it on...

I know . . . but I bet you I could find a thread within 30 seconds where someone was arguing this issue with me.
