Blog program
 

We need some advice on whether to invest in blog software or just design and update our own manually. The one we are using sucks, as it needs some tweaking (it was free, so I cannot get too upset). We want one that will update via an html form so that it can be easily updated - type in message, click submit - add pictures - click submit. Any recommendations?

I second this..

I've been with wordpress for over a year, and never had any problems with it! It is great!

I am not sure I like the new version as much. At least I seem to have troubles getting some of my crucial plugins to work with it. :disgust

Still sticking with 1.5.2 for the old blogs, and 2.0.1 for the new.

We'll check them both out. The one we use now is Egg Blog. Easy setup, but has a bunch of little bugs in it. Thanks again!

Samething here, I'm going to sit on 1.5 until people finally move all the plugins over to 2.0. To many important plugins that don't work correctly in 2.0 yet.

For Trasy.. Working around WP, finding the plugins, or making your own needed plugins will take MUCH less time then having your own blog software written with all the features and ability to expand as WP has, however a monkey could write the code better.
