Why is airfare to Phoenix is so fucking expensive?
 

I?m with in 12 hour driving range and its $400 bucks? I flew to Brazil and Canada for that much. What is the deal? Looked at AA website and nothing to Phoenix.. Nothing what so ever.. Not from Chicago, not from Miami.. Nothing?

Hmm that's strange. I always heard it was cheap to fly into Phoenix but maybe that is just comparing to Tucson.

It was oddly expensive this year, in the past it used to be about $500 from Toronto, but this year I ended up paying about $750 - $800.

Go to www.sidestep.com. You have to download their toolbar icon, but I found tickets from Fort Lauderdale for $260 round trip to Phoenix.

The other travel sites were quoting about $400+

I got mine for $250... seems pretty average.
