I am an ex-punk with a tendency to take shit apart, I don't buy nice shit anymore because I either break it or fuck with it
I guess the best thing I own though is my Technics 1200 sl-mkII's, i have 3 of them and I love them :) |

I got a avic-d1 and a 7.1 hooked into my xbox 360.
All is good for me in the department. |
What do you have? Are we talking Mark Levinson or Krell components? B&W, Wilson Audio speakers type stuff?
I listened to the Bob Carver's Sunfire Tru Sub and nearly shit my pants. That thing has a crisp clear sound unlike anything I've ever heard. http://www.wilsonaudio.com/products/.../maxx_hero.jpg |

I also have 4 Boston Acoustic tower speakers, two Mission side speakers, a 15" powered Mirage sub and a Boston acoustics VR-MC center speaker, and of course, the Samsung HLRW-4667 DLP TV This pic doesn't do my theater room justice, but it's all I have... http://lbbv.com/pics/theater-room.jpg Back view of my theater room for those that care :) The black box in between the sofas is my subwoofer The hard part is fighting the urge to upgrade every time something new comes out.... |
Best I ever had was a 5k system installed after market in my 911. But I sold it. Sold the system seperately and only got about 2,500 :( It had a custom build box woofer thing that took up the entire back seat area. Serious thumpage at the time :pimp

Best (and worst) single piece of audio component I once owned was a Luxman K-112 cassette deck. Paid a grand for it years ago - and it made some sweet recordings.
Lasted me a year - then went kerfucked. Had it repaired...it worked for another 2 months...kerfucked again. Fixed it again (this time out of warranty) and it lasted 24 hrs. I took it out to the garage and put a big pickaxe through the chassis. Swore I'd never purchase another Luxman/Alpine unit again. These days, my best piece of gear is an old pair of 480w Audiosphere Research monitors in the living room. They'll still make yer teeth itch. |
