Cox issues to GFY?

We're attempting to troubleshoot issue seen for Cox customers who see
slowness when connecting to GFY. This troubleshooting will be done
shortly. If you're having a problem, we'd appreciate your input, but we
need, at the *least*, the following:
- IP address (see whatismyip.com to find out!)
- Exact time of the problem
- A way that we can reach you quickly, and at what times we should contact you

If you're not comfortable posting this info into the forum, email it
to [email protected].

Thanks for your patience, and we hope to have everything normalized
and a permanent fix in place shortly.

We've reverted away from the Cox connection so that users should
not be experiencing any problem. However, the issue is not resolved,
and we expect to break things again in the future. (Was anyone broken
today? Tell us about it!)

If you wish to assist our troubleshooting, please email
[email protected] and let us know how we can reach you
and the best time to do so. (Remember that, although we'd love to
chat with you, you have to be a Cox customer for it to be beneficial!)

Until next time,
-The Network Fixers

You were having problems because we were attempting to troubleshoot
the issue. It seems better now because we reinstated the temporary
(suboptimal) fix. It would be incredibly beneficial if you could provide
your IP address yesterday (which is difficult to be sure of in the past tense,)
the exact time of the problem, and a way that we can reach you quickly to
do further troubleshooting. Without that data, the above post is informative,
but doesn't help us to help you!

Should you not wish to assist in troubleshooting, that's fine as well, but we
can't solve the problem if no one wants to help.

Note that we will soon be troubleshooting again, and hope that, when that
time comes (announced in this thread,) people will sign up to help us
demonstrate a problem to Cox and fix it once and for all.

Thanks much,
-The GFY Network Fixers

I know this guy is serious and I hope you all get straightened out but does anyone else find the Cox fixers posting on GFY just a little humerous?
