I am back on my hotdog fix, so what do you feel goes on a hotdog?

It is an ethnic thing. Not bad actually. Thinly shreded of course. Adds a nice crunch and a pleasant taste. Then again sour kraut is also cabbage.

I like tomato and celery salt on my hot dog

i havent try it, but i was thinking that it will be good if you'll wrap hotdog, together with mayo, mustard, catsup, relish and cheese with cabbage then put it in a bun then add lotsa mayo and chili and cheese on top.

I voted for my old fav Ketchup, sweet relish, onions, mustard.....now that I can't eat that anymore cuz it give me heartburn it is just spicy dijon now

I really do not think they are that many bad ideas with hot dogs.

I am however addicted to them. Assuming of course they are decent hot dogs and not the crapy types.

well that's your opinion, but some people want their sandwich with lotsa fillings and toppings, it can be crappy for you but not with others :)

Even I could not do that. I have particular combos I do.

Normal is:
Mustard (spicy), katchup, dill relish, onion, sour kraut, celery salt.
Chili dog is:
Mustard (yellow), chili, cheddar cheese, onion.
Been drinking:
Mustard (spicy), chili sauce, onion, sweet relish, pickled hot peppers, black pepper.
Cold weather:
Mustard (spicy), velveta cheese (melted), bacon bits (real), sour cream, potato chips (crushed).
Odd:
Mustard (dijon), chili sauce, kim-chee, onion rings.
Upscale:
Toasted rye bread, hot dogs (halved & fried), sour kraut (warmed), thousand island, cheese (swiss).
Western:
Coleslaw, BBQ sauce (warmed), pickle spears.
Crazy:
Shreded cabbage, mayo, corn chips (crushed), hot sauce.
