Why Us Canucks Care About US Gun Laws ...
Or, at least we should. Stories like this happen too often ... Gun trafficking into Canada is big business and the majority end up in the wrong hands.
Just ask yourself this: Does your right to bear arms outweigh the lives of innocent people who die when these guns end up in the hands of criminals? And if you're so obsessed about protecting your home, why not just buy a big rottweiler and a Beware of Dog sign? That should deter all but the most determined robbers. Just a thought! Anyhow, on to the sad article, the first in a series: http://www.thestar.com/NASApp/cs/Con...l=969483202845 |
If your criminals were not wanting to buy the guns then you would have no issue. Worry more about your semi organized Chinese gun trafficers more than gun laws here and you may have a dent in the problem.
As far as the dog, its not bullet proof, and neither is the criminal THAT'S why people do not get them, that along with lawsuits and such from animal attack and the rate of insurance increase or the inability to get insurance with such an animal on your property. |
poor canadian bad guys would never have guns without a gun store in the usa selling it to them. that makes perfect sense. the problem at home obviously starts and ends in another country.
