For postcount++; purposes I always thought. "50" doesnt make me look at a sig, thats for sure.

Now with the new version of the board that repeats the 1st post on the second page, lot of sigs whores lost the prime spot at the top of the page.

Ask woj about it, recently I found a cookie from woj's sig on my puter, the bastard is tracking his sig productivity. :)

I was going to wait until 50, but looks like my impatience got the better of me.

Lots of the 50th spots are in contests, or were to win.

Exactly, the custom was started back in 1849, when the 50th reply would be at the top of the page, thus securing a valuable sig spot.

Lets face it the sig whore thing is stupid. The money made from sig whoreing is fucking ridiculously small. Woj uses a bot so maybe it works for him as he is automated but as for the dopes running around banging out 300 posts a day. Good luck.
