I onced signed up, and today I received an email that all headers and footers we're removed.

ANd guess what, they added a popunder!

Well that way noone will get listed on TGP's. So webmasters stops using them, and they will go away(my opinion)

Just 347589 more freehosts to die now :)

TGPs ban freehosts if you breath on your monitor too hard.

I have seen reasons ranging from too many links on a page, wrong sponsor, use of javascript, use of ASP, too slow, not enough pics, too many pics.. whatever..

lately we have been getting shit from TGPs about the 4 adds we had in our header and footer.

Simple solution.. remove them.

Ohh.. and by the way.. the headers and footers have been off for over 2 weeks now; and the pop-under has been up for the same amount of time..

Traffic has actually increased to pages, and refers show that sites are being listed on the major TGP with the pup-under.

You can make some people happy all the time, but you can't make everybody happy all of the time.

Yeah right. listed on big tgps. Well show me some examples then from galleries with popunder listed on big tgp's :)

BTW you're right about some crazy rules, but no popup is one of the reasonable rules imo

if you have a paid host and youre posting galleries - how the hell can you afford the bw usage?

read: people werent clicking the headers or footers.

many tpgs will ban the galleries just because its a freehost

same way a freehost can afford to serve gallery pages. its called advertising. :thumbsup

paid hosting isn't as expensive as you may think, any more.
