A question on scripts that over write cookies.
If there was no cookie on the computer and a surfer types in the URL will these scripts, like ZANGO, write themselves onto the surfers computer?
|
It's not a script Paul.
People are bidding on keywords from Zango. If they bid on your sites keywords and decide to popup the same site their popup cookies the surfer like normal. Because they typed in your url with no cookie you are losing whatever you end up paying the affiliate because you should have got the type in 100%. |

If this disappears it's their profit margin gone. Sites need to check that certain affiliates are not soaking up these sales. This is how these spyware programs or what ever they are called could be bad for the sponsors involved. |
Sponsors, start watching your conversion ratios. This could be a clue to something wrong.
