YEP!.
On Camera lighting or as we call it here in Cali.. "OC Lighting" is pretty bad. These lights aren't really good for anything other than helping to light the closeups. We're shooting porn here, not Braveheart. Who do you think I am? John Toll?:1orglaugh :1orglaugh

Just out of curiosity, what is the color temp of LED lights? Can you get indoor and daylight ones so it doesn't fuck up your white balance when you go in close and it becomes your main light source on the shot?

No, you can not use it that way, I think.

These are so small and are mainly used in electronics equipments as indicators of power (remember that red light?), in toys and sometime in traffic signals and electronic temperature telling sign boards.

Mostly, they emit red light but also available in green, yellow, pink colors.
