What to do with Japanese adult traffic?
 

I have a domain that attracts about 12k targeted adult visitors each month, most of them from Japan. I signed up with a sponsor but they only count about
10% of the traffic, which happens to be the approximate percentage of traffic coming from the US. Zero conversions so far.

Questions: Which sponsor counts Japanese visitors and pays for Japanese sign-ups?

What kind of content converts best for Japanese visitors? I read somewhere that black works best (much better than Asian, Hentai etc.) but your expert opinions are always welcome. :)

What are they looking for? You might actually do well sending them to a sponsor with big busty blondes (strange but true). Depends on what they are searching for to start with.

I agree it really depends on what the customers are looking for. A hint to that will get you better answers. For example, we do very well with Japanese customers looking for solo or softcore. But we wouldn't do well if the customers were looking for scat or bondage :winkwink:

It is good to hear that you discovered that the sponsor you tried wasn't counting your Japanese traffic. That sucks, but at least you know so you can better it. Plenty of webmasters throw away traffic and never know it.
