is korikitten.com updated with new content anymore? other sologirls in limbo?

ripping through some more reviews today, and eveyr now and then i come across a site that looks like it hasn't been updated in ages. i mean all the galleries at the top of the list are stuff i saw in previews ages ago...

it looks pretty dead to me, but i'd like to be proven otherwise.

anyone knowof any other solo girl sites that are for sure sitting in limbo right now so i can make a note of it while going though the rest of my review list?

The Ghost 05-25-2007 12:45 PM

Many sologirls are gone long before the site opens. They are shot for a certain number of sets (and maybe videos too) and sent packing. Sometimes producers(sites) do not have alot of content shot of a model and open a site anyways, under the ill advised belief that the model will always be there.

The model most likely:
-disappears
-gets a new boyfriend (or married)
-finds religion
-gains(or loses) weight
-radical change in body style (adds tattoos/cuts hair/etc)
-loses interest/doesn't care
-etc/etc/etc

There are certain ways to package and rotate the content to where most surfers would not know. Some are better at doing it than others. Some sites concentrate on making the tour look fresh, but ignore the members area entirely. The better ones do a great job at both, and it shows in sales and rebills.

**I have no idea about the site in the thread title, this is just a general statement

SteveLightspeed 05-25-2007 12:55 PM

I think its important to remember how pissed off affiliates get over sudden site closures. If a model quits, the best alternative is to rotate content and keep the site going. But now you want a list so you can point that out to your surfers too?

Don't pull the curtain so far back that you reveal the stage crew, it ruins the play. :2 cents:

Steve's right shoot enough so if she quits you can cover a good part of a year and save your affiliates greif

Dirty Dane 05-25-2007 01:16 PM

For me, its 3 kind of solosites;

"Static" solosites can be good enough for archive, as it attracts new surfers, but don't count on many rebills. If you have the chose between PPS or RS you know which option to choose...

Programs just pulling the plugs without noticing affiliate, and often redirecting traffic, are not those I wanna push if they start new sites. Or those that open and close all the time.. its so much waste of work and time.

Best solosites, even if the girl is just "average", are those with some personal touch. The girl might have webcam and so on, and its updated throughout the year (you can see the model change look). Very good for rebills.

Angry Jew Cat - Banned for Life 05-25-2007 01:19 PM

if there's no new content in the site, YES I AM GOING TO TELL MY SURFERS...

it is a review site. i'm not going to tell them how badass the site is and leave out the fatc that site's already dead. if the site has no new content in rotation, i'll fcous my review on why he surfer should want to see the content that is there, and push the value of the one time signup...

i think this also works well to put more attention on GOOD sites, with lots of new content, interactivity with the models, and a well worthy investment for the surfer...

Reviews are meant to tell the surfer why he should or shouldn't purchase a pass in my opinion. Not feed them full of shit...

Several "dead" sites are part of a network/bonus sites. Maybe you should tell that, if they are :)

Do you tell your surfers that the girls on bangbus are really paid models, and not girls picked up at random?

Sologirl sites are a risky venture. Its common for the girls to quit within the first year. The solosite owner might need 2 years to even recover his investment, but your plan is going to make that 2nd year pretty miserable for him.

I understand your desire to be honest with your surfers, so be sure to tell them:

1) You only review sites that pay you a commission on sales.
2) Using the "review site" format gives you good search engine listings to gain traffic.
3) You really don't have their best interest in mind at all, but giving that ILLUSION will make you more money in the long run.

this is total bs
you maintain the illusion for a site and someone signs up and is disappointed by the repeating content
they will never trust you again
yes you may get a longer billing cycle for that one site but you will lose that person forever
conversely if you are honest with the surfer they will not buy that particular membership but they will buy one that you do recommend
the rebills for that site will be just as long but when they get tired of that site/network of sites
they will still respect your honesty. Which means they will come back and you will get another sale when for new sites you recommend.

SteveLightspeed 05-25-2007 03:50 PM

My kids saw the original Starwars movie for the first time a few years ago and really enjoyed it. I didn't ruin it for them by telling them how it ends, or that it was made nearly 30 years ago. And I didn't ruin it by saying "Darth Vader voice went on to do voiceover's for CNN"

Get a clue

There are two types of sites... the one that do an excellent job at maintaining a good experience to the member and the ones that don't. There is nothing wrong with a site with repeating content. The vast majority of sites on the web have some sort of rotation script for the content, based on the realistic possibility that someday there will not be the means or reason to shoot new content. It's a fact.

But again, keeping up the illusion of a fresh site is much more important. Generally, if a surfer is coming in through affiliate links they are viewing the site for the first time. They wouldn't know if the content was shot yesterday or 5 years ago. The important thing to remember is they saw something they liked and clicked through to see more.

So again, it does not matter if the content is old or new, just how the overall experience is. :)

And I love Steve's analogies. :thumbsup

Mutt 05-25-2007 04:16 PM

Steve's right - this is show business/entertainment, selling a fantasy and that's what 90% of solo site surfers want or care about.

it's the type of surfer you want to befriend that is chasing all these American girls away from doing sites. these sites are going to be a thing of the past soon - there just aren't going to be any cute girls willing to become world INFAMOUS overnight. if you're so concerned about these 10% of surfers who want to know everything are you going to tell them that the cute little teen you are selling them is divorced, has 2 kids, a meth habit and warrants out for her arrest?

there's a new site out run by a stalker type who is exposing as much personal information about the solo teen girls as he can dig up.

on a review site i think it's fair if you don't oversell a site that you know or have a feeling is not fresh or interactive. and when u find a site that does have everything going for it - give that one the best review.

but as Steve said there's no need to pull back the curtains that far.

Sometimes I think the real purpose of affiliates is to fuck up the free surfing experience in every way possible, so the surfer will join a paysite to get away from them.

Selling porn is about selling FANTASY.

I didn't like Starwars because there is NO WAY an inexperienced FARMBOY could ever really blow up a DEATHSTAR by shooting an exhaust port that's only two meters wide! :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

SteveLightspeed 05-25-2007 04:30 PM

I just found out that Gilligan and the rest of the castaways were really all just actors and were never really stranded AT ALL. I mean, I knew Ginger was an actress, but Mr and Mrs Howell were only PRETENDING to be millionaires! And I'll never trust that bitch MaryAnne ever again...

Well, do you tell your surfers how much you make when they signup ?
Do you tell them that you only review sites that offer a webmaster program ?
Do you tell them that many sologirl sites have professionals for answering fanmails instead of the models themselves ?
Do you tell them that the girl they adore is married with 2 kids and would never even drink a beer with her fans ?
Do you tell them that the reason a girl does double anal is the insane money, that it really hurts and is absolutely no fun at all for 99% of the girls ?
Do you tell them the cum is a fake because the guy is simply exhausted after a week of work ?

I could go on and on, while I respect that most review sites try to review unbiased and honest, not always telling the full truth doesn't mean it's a lie.

The whole adult industry is about illusions and fantasies, even many webmaster programs create the illusion of fast money without work...and everybody doing this fulltime knows very well that it's hard work and you won't sit at the pool with two hookers all day because you can't decide if you want to take a ride with the Porsche or the Ferrari.

Bottom line: Totally misleading your surfers won't work long term, it's a bad idea, but telling them nothing but the truth isn't always the smartest move.

yeah but you are talking about two different things completely in simple terms it comes down to how likely are the surfers going to catch you in a lie

most of the "lies" you are talking about are ones that the average surfer will accept, it called suspension of disbelief. People still signup to bang bus even though there were dozens article telling people that it is fake,
people still signup for eurobridetryouts even though they recognize some of the girls as european pornstars.

But when guys find out that they have been "hoodwinked" into writing letter to "britney lightspeed" and finding out that it really some bought content of "Jana Mrazkova" a pornstar who doesn't even speak english.

sites like eurobabeindex.com exposing that these facts every day why should you risk pissing off a potentially long term client.

telling the truth to his surfers about "britney lightspeed" keeps surfers returning to his site.

Not sure how relevant it is who they're writing to or not. Think of phone sex, where more often than not the woman on the other end of the line is a 300lb woman with a sexy voice. I wouldn't know or care that Britney had a different name/etc, or bother to look around. But that's just me. And if I was REALLY into her, I would probably try to collect everything she's done. TBH, before this thread I didn't know about the Eurobabe Index. The internet is VAST and there isn't the time to look around EVERYWHERE. The average paying customer is busy working long hours, without alot of free time to search the web. Hence bookmarks. If they had the time to search, they could probably find it all for free anyways. :upsidedow

I would think that a bad review would be for a site that does not deliver as promised. What's on the tour is not inside. That's the whole reason for the tour, to sell the product.

We are in the business of selling fantasies. So being a saleman of fantasties you have to realize that not every site is built, packaged or managed the same. The only thing that revealing every inane facet of the business to a customer does is harden them up and prevent them from opening their wallets. There are indeed sites that could be considered "rip offs", but that term subjective. IMHO most sites are EXCELLENT value. And compared to an adult DVD they are AMAZING values.

Let me finish by saying I don't care who gets a good or bad review, as long as it's not us. :pimp

wheat 05-25-2007 11:32 PM

What I hate is when I've been selling a site based on interaction with the model, and she up and disappears and I don't get any notification about it. I don't like selling my visitors on something based on what I know, then finding out that I sold them on a lie, because that's one more person who's posting on forums about how all porn sites are ripoffs run by shady thieves and how they get their fix from Empornium now.

Not to threadjack or anything, but..
The 300 lb phone sex girl myth is kinda obsolete now with the advent of the internet.. ;)
Most of my girls who work for me are genuine coeds paying for school... and not wanting their hoo-nana on the website...

HOWEVER.. I totally get your point... phone sex is a 4.2 billion dollar industry that is based on perpetuating suspended belief...

Just please... the best phone operators aren't the 300 lb trailer trash girls any longer :) They *gasp* may not be their models.. but most are educated chicas making their way. I don't hire trailer trash.

PSSuperstars 05-26-2007 01:05 AM

And what I don't get....

Why don't you just spin the review?
Say something like, "Some of the hottest content you'll find on the net... she does "insert some of the highlights of her tour"... and move on..

You'll make MORE SALES and money... by just talking about the pics..
Don't even address the backside of the industry.. there's no need to.. don't address whether it's updated or not...

Just sell the tour...

Negativity on a site when you've got your dick in your hand.. is a boner killer to clients, yo.

PSSuperstars 05-26-2007 01:07 AM

AND.... you need to be smart enough to even make it to where the BAD sites you review get sales as well..

I know sometimes that webcam girls and phone sex girls with bad ratings... get "curiosity calls"... Guys who want to KNOW what happened... why a rating says "Arrogant asshole" or "sounded too squeaky" or whatever..

So even if you do a NEGATIVE review on something... follow it up with a couple of positives... just incase someone is curious.. and still wants to make money...

I mean the whole point of this is for you to make cash right?
Not to just be truthful?
But to fucking pay for your vices and get a life going...

Good grief. In other words, turn a "review" site back into the same kind of bullshit sales spiel to which review sites were a response in the first place???

There are over 10,000 sites you can pitch at surfers. On a review site, the top 20-30 on the main page and the top 5 on category pages are going to catch the bulk of a review site's sales. From those numbers it should be obvious that the review site operator doesn't need to soft-pedal, so the only relevant question is whether he would gain anything from doing so.

For this discussion to matter, we have to accept the premise that if a surfer arrives at a review site and begins reading, there is a good chance he cares about what he reads. If not, he would presumably move on and find a TGP or whatever.

With that in mind, it would be a nonsense to assume that a surfer wouldn't care if a review failed to cover the issues which concern him. Although there are some "filler" polls on http://www.pornusers.com/browse_polls.html there are also some which suggest that pornsite members have very definite likes and dislikes relating to certain site features.

Every experienced surfer knows there is no such thing as a perfect porn site, so the very first step in establishing credibility must be to highlight the bad as well as the good. To judge the value of a review site I haven't visited before, I find the review of a site with which I am familiar and see if the reviewer's take on it is similar to mine. I'm especially going to look to see if he picks up anything which really p*ssed me off.

When a review site makes a sale, the surfer buys a membership with the expectations that the review site created. If those expectations are realized, in a couple of months there is a pretty fair chance he will check some more reviews. But if you found that a review site had done no more than remove some of the most obvious "extravagances" from the site's own sales pitch, would you bother taking its advice again?

bingo each site is selling a different value proposition

try and turn a review site into a tgp or link list and you lose the surfer

steve i am not posting sologirl marketplace i am posting about review sites
the fact that they intersect with your marketplace does not change that fact

when jj abrams released the "Rambaldi artifact box" for his alias series
most dvd review sites panned it as a waste of money
the closest thing to a positive review was
If you're a die-hard Alias fan and don't own any of the previous seasons on DVD, this one is for you. -- Ellen A. Kim

the fact is it was a waste of money, the discounted price of getting all of the 5 seasons individually was like $40 cheaper and all you were getting was a pretty box and a bonus cd of interviews to the press that were publically available for free anyway.

review sites who panned the collection still got sales by putting up links to the individual seasons

plus built up return traffic which would translate into more sales

Now back to you
"Britney lightspeed" is almost as bad as "Rambaldi artifact box" set of alias. People who like the look of the girl and want to see her in sex scenes can find hundreds if not thousands of picture/movie sets at other sites.

"bubba" answering the emails and pretending to american sweetheart is like the bonus cd in the box set.

Review sites can make just as much if not more money being honest about "britney lighspeed" plus they gain the benefit of people willing to share the info (new customers -- like the ghost mentioned when he pointed out he was ignorant of eurobabeindex.com) and repeat customers (people who read the review and therefore feel good about the site because it protected them from being "scam")

The only person who gets hurt in this senerio is you and that is why you want review sites to do "fluff reviews" of your solo girl sites.

There are tons of solo girl sites which have a real live girl to chat with their members.
give you a bad review and put a table of all of the sites which have bought sets of jana AND have such a girl and a review site would make far more money than by writing a "fantasy review" of the site.

BTW given the fact that you licience a plugin that features all of you girls a list of sites that meet these qualifications is quite big.
