Buster I bought mine on Ebay and got a great deal, just make sure to ask the seller if it is compatible memory. I paid about half the cost of retail. Good luck.

Yeah, there is a site out there where you can enter the model of PC you have and they tell you which RAM you need and the max your PC can run. Can't remember the URL though but I think Juicy posted it a year or so ago.

Pricewatch is good, but i got burned by a company one time. It was a compatibility issue and they knew it but didn't admit their was a problem. Anyhow I ended up disputing it with Amex and finally won after about 6 months.

Just make sure they will give you an email saying the memory they are selling you is 100% compatible with your particular machine, otherwise it is a fricken slug fest for a few months.

Goodluck.

ALWAYS check www.resellerratings.com before you buy computer stuff from a company online.

Here are places I have purchased various hardware from, with no issues:

www.newegg.com
www.mwave.com
www.zipzoomfly.com
www.clubit.com

Or, if you are close enough to this store - http://www.pcclub.com/stores_info.cfm?stid=NVRN - it is a computer-only store, and their techs should be able to help you find compatible RAM

Whichever option you do go for, don't forget to run a memory test after installing (my favorite program - http://www.memtest86.com/).

Hope that helps, buddy :thumbsup
