Christ! thats insane. My wedding ring 70 bucks, titanium. My wife picked her own, 27 bucks including tax. a little thin titanium band. She's very tiny and ddn't want something that god ugly taking over her whole hand. So a little over a hundred bucks for both rings and we have a happy life together.

There's a lesson there somewhere.
