Funny how the girls never talk about giving the money back that they earned.

The one thing that struck me about that was she did not try to put the responsibility for her choice onto anyone else. No stories of how she was coerced or anything like we hear from ex-models who want someone else to be the fall guy.

Most girls are stupid. Looks like she is no different. I guess Dawson = dead.

Two things struck me.

First, she seemed to understand that "As a business" she "Screwed them over", and they had to make their investment back. She didn't seem bitter about it, just matter of fact. That impressed me.

What impresses me more is the photography on the site. I wouldn't look twice at the girl in the video, but Dawson Miller is fuckin' hot as hell imo.

I wouldn't think so. This video will be passed around to more webmasters than customers most likely. She hasnt been participating in the site since it's launch, so as long as Mutt has enough content stocked and someone doing Diary entries, I don't see sales dropping off much at all. :2 cents:

Dawson is far from being an idiot - her story is kinda fascinating in a soap opera way. What she says in that video is mostly the truth but there are things left untold but it's not my place to tell them. She told me about this video a couple of weeks ago. It's pretty much what I expected.

I can't say much about it, she's a very cute girl with her heart in the right place - I think she's been a little misguided and I don't think by the world of pornography.

She walked away from a ton of money for her convictions.

Stupid girl could have made shitload more money if she stuck with it.

I was impressed by that also.

because the truth is she's a terrific girl and she was treated with respect from Day 1 til today. she accepts responsibility for her actions and doesn't blame - well not too much anyway :) we still are in touch with her and on very good terms and I am trying to do the right thing by her. She wasn't coerced and she was paid well upfront and offered a ton of money to keep going, cash or a % - the best of both worlds in terms of how solo girls get compensated.

that's part of what drives me nuts with people who are religious fundamentalists - very bright people say things that aren't very smart but in the end a religion is a 'faith' not 'fact' - fundamentalists forget that.

Dawson is very intelligent. that is a fact.

Her story had none of that, and it was impressive to me for that. :)

i know most webmasters, especially guys like Steve who shoot and recruit girls, are pretty cynical about models - and I have grown way more cynical too with them over the last few years but while Dawson shares some characteristics/stereotypes she is different - like I wrote on another board today it would not shock me if she came back at some point but i wouldn't bet on it either.

it's just about impossible to find a girl like Melissa - that has the looks that makes a solo girl a star and the mindset that this is what she wants to do and to make the most money she can from it But even in Melissa's post there was something reading between the lines that even Melissa has regrets about it. maybe i'm wrong about that - only Melissa knows.

Mutt you are right about webmasters or producers in my case being cynical about models. My philosophy is this. The smarter and more together a nude model or porn girl seems at first, the more disturbed they really are deep down inside! Based just on what I read in this thread alone, it seems like this girl is par for the course.

sad to see Dawson is out of biz. She was (is) the most beautiful solo girl I've ever seen.
