I just saw the same thing and freaked for a second until I realized its probably some update or something.

Log out and back in. Fixed it for me.

During updates why doesn't it say the balance is unavailable due to an update? A fairly simply thing, isn't it?

Same here - zero balance... This is the ONLY online company that zero's out all of their customers' accounts whenever they do maintenance. Unbelievable :1orglaugh
