Globosale.com Rules!!!

Just signed up with them, Geeeeeezzzz!

Man, i NEVER had those signups ratios, are over 150% more than with Ibill and WSB!

They take almost every possible pay form ever invented: VISA, MC, AMEX (yes, AMEX!), JCB, Diners, Paypal, Paybox, Paysafe, Online checks, mail checks, cash!, wires!

I was setup, up and running in about 30 mins.

The aff program is amazingly simple, the do all the signup stuff, you only link to it.

They even have an script to stop brute force attacks!

If the new Ibill shit is true, ok, will not loose my rebills, but FUCK THEM, i'm migrating everything to globosale.

I truly recommended it

El Demonio 10-07-2002 04:59 PM

Payment options are at http://www.globosale.net/en/s_zahlungsoptionen.html

quiet 10-07-2002 05:05 PM

hmm, i though amex no longer processed adult. period.

Candyman69 10-07-2002 05:07 PM

does anyone else use them ?
anyone big ?

hmmm , its not bad 12% flat commision to them

but accepting amex part is sketchy,
and ive never heard of these guys till now

El Demonio 10-07-2002 05:11 PM

Steffie recommended it to me, she said she had a no short time proecessing with them and it was good, also and affiliate said he was wroking with them for 8 months and never had a problem.

I also didn't believe the amex stuff, and i really i don't care due the volumes, but just checked and i had 6 AMEX signups already!

Candyman69 10-07-2002 05:12 PM

so i take it they are a international 3rd party biller ?

wehre are they located

Well seeing as you have been with them for an hour I have a hard time using your situation as a reference.

Who has been with them long enough to know about rebills and
their payouts?

I would also like to know ... speak up !!

chupacabra 10-07-2002 05:23 PM

looking at their site, it appears they tack a 2.95euro charge onto each transaction, billed to the customer... this seems steep to me, considering they are also getting their 12%... we would have to lower membership rates to absorb that difference..

Candyman69 10-07-2002 05:23 PM

i'm stupid

how much is 2.95 euro to US

A one-hour reference? :1orglaugh

that type of quick reference sounds very, very dangerous - especially in this fly-by-night industry!

I got burt by OBS Billing a few years ago. Then I got burnt by Digiblaze billing. Then I got burnt on my own merchant accounts.

Appreciate the info but I think enthusiasm should be reserved until globosales has at least a 2-3 years track record of stability.

This industry tends to be as stable as the San Andreas fault line.

:1orglaugh

Jayson 10-07-2002 05:25 PM

It says they charge $2.95 directly to the customer on top of the 12%?????

On a $20 membership that makes for a nice 26.75% commission.

Shark 10-07-2002 05:26 PM

Hmmm,

Not sure how this will affect longer term rebill sales either...

El told me the 2.95$ Transaction charge is only for check processing , there is no extra charge for CC

and i have confirmed this on one of the singup pages

Paolo 10-07-2002 05:31 PM

Yes I agree.
How long have they been in business.
Also American Express has a no adult policy.
Is that going to bite you in the ass later?

I would not be willing to try it untill these questions are answered.

Sounds nice on paper but what do we really know about them.
Swidss is far away I never even herd of them before.
Where have they been hiding if they are so great?

Candyman69 10-07-2002 05:36 PM

i'm trying to find a back up processsor
and they are not too bad , need more feed back

steffie 10-07-2002 05:41 PM

I am using them as backup biller for my sites. Yes they are fairly new and yes I have been burned by a lot of other billing companies before. The latest was Lancelot I actually still had rebills with them from 96 lol

I was surprised that you were setup in less than an hour, I remember getting setup there and it took a while. Faxing paperwork, copy of passport, setting the cgi up in current htpswd file blah blah.

They send a receipt once the client is rebilled.

Like dear client, we have just charged your credit card with x amount of dollars. However Verotel also does that! Most european billers do this, to keep chargebacks down.

You can opt in or opt out if you want to send a rebill notice in advance.

I talked to Claudine this morning (their time, 3 am USA time) and Roli their tech I know they are swamped.

So far I have not had any complaints on the extra fee from them on top of 12% to the customer.

But than they are my backup. I have been moving some join pages around over the weekend and moved Verotel to primary on some sites.

Is it me or is scrubbing higher than ever? Everywhere? Maybe I am just dreaming.

Ah - if we all wanted to ride a Merry-Go-Round we would be working at 7-11 and not in the Adult Industry

AaronM 10-07-2002 05:44 PM

Comment withdrawn.

El Demonio 10-07-2002 05:44 PM

I'm trying them for a week in one of my sites, to see what happens, they look good.

the 2.95 is over checks, not credit cards.

Am I'm no fucking spammer, i'm just fucking pissed of by this VISA shit and very worried about my biz, i'm trying to trigger a 'borg collective' effect here to be all united to achieve something, but due assholes like you i'm getting nowhere.

anyway, i will solve my problem and keep posting solutions and iupdates, i'm contributing i feel, if you want to hear, fine, if not, fine also.

steffie 10-07-2002 05:52 PM

The 2.95 is charged with everything

Credit Card, Checks etc

Its tagged on at the signup sheet.

I like them because they offer a huge variety of sales and looking at what you have sold so far it doesn't seem to hurt you.

I don't know how many customers have turned down this billing because they had to pay extra and went to CCbill, Ibill, PSW, or Verotel instead (dude I have way to many billers lol)

But I do get a decent share of people signing up with them from overseas, japan, amex (I don't think I want to know how they get around that one)

I am only offering opinions on different billers here, they are going to get their money one way or the other.

My primary is still going to be Verotel.
We're also keeping CCbill and PSW until the rebills and the yearly fees are no longer feasable

i dont know about the 2.95 for credit card
cus i checked out el's sites and when i tried to join it doesnt' state the join for credit cards , only for cehcks

El Demonio 10-07-2002 06:00 PM

Steffie you said that they are receving mass webmasters signups?

I was setup so quick because i took the cgi thing in my own hands and asked for the test right away

SunTzu 10-07-2002 06:03 PM

Why would you go with something that charges $2.95 more?? Just gives the surfer one more reason to say 'hmmmm' before hitting the join button.

Otherwise they sound good, but that billing fee's gotta go.

steffie 10-07-2002 06:04 PM

Yeah I had a feeling you did it yourself. I had to wait for Roli to do it for me.. I am a blonde you know LOL

geez

i'm pretty sure the fee is only for check processsing.. not for cc

Because right now we have to weigh all the options
I have a merchant account which already cost me money each year
I have to pay $ 2250 by November 15th to 3 billers in the USA

The 2.95 are tagged on to the customer and not me

They are my backup biller and not primary.

If you ever get paybox after paybox signup you be surprised.

I don't know I guess to each their own. I tried cCbill when they were new, PSW when they were new Lancelot when they were new.

Oh well, I am fucked lol

Brad Mitchell 10-07-2002 06:55 PM

Looks neat!

Brown Bear 10-07-2002 06:55 PM

It looks like globosale has only been in business for about 6 months.

Also, the join pages of theirs that I have seen look like they were designed by a 12 year old.

WebDork 10-08-2002 03:34 PM

Ive been using them for about 6 months as a backup processor. What attracted me to them was that they dont charge a fee to wire money to your account.

What I dont like is that their site design is soooo poor. Users are turned off by their signup pages, but worst of all is that their join form allows users to uncheck the rebill option BEFORE they have even signed up. Rebills are VERY VERY low as a result compared to other processors.

I think they also email subscribers at every opportunity letting them know they are about to be billed / have been billed etc...

If a customer has joined and selected rebilling - I dont ever want them to be emailed again - unless their cc gets rejected - then email em and ask em for another one.

On a more positive note, the backend stats rock, Roli provides EXCELLENT service and seems a genuinely nice guy, payments are always on time, its easy to set uo 99% of it yourself, add new accounts etc.. provides access via redirect or .htpasswd

I just WISH he would spend some money on getting some more professional join pages designed, take off the dam checkbox to stop rebilling, and quit emailing my customers :)

WebDork 10-08-2002 03:46 PM

Oh - two more things - they have the WIDEST range of payment options of pretty well any processor I know of, and the $2.95 fee doesnt happen for cc sales.

See http://www.globosale.net/en/s_zahlungsoptionen.html for payment options

If you decide to sign up and want to be nice can you signup under https://www.globosale.net/reseller_f...p?f_pa_wm=5025

Gives me a 3% return on your sales - but comes out of Roli's pocket not yours :)

sweandy 10-08-2002 03:48 PM

$10 fee for check payout and free wire.. Thats the way it should be. Ban those lame checks for good :thumbsup

playa 10-08-2002 03:55 PM

no offense but i'd rather trust my money on an american company,, i hate get fucked and can't do nothing bout it

Webby 10-08-2002 04:44 PM

El Demonio:

*They are in Switzerland!
I'm in Latin America and they took my biz*

Assume you applied from another country outside Latin America region? They do not accept signups from Latin America or several other regions - only accept named countries on their signup page.

E-Randy 10-08-2002 05:01 PM

LMAO... I don't know why people trust sooo easily. Why not go with Jettis that's been around for so many years and actually know what they are doing? These guys are charging 12% and then $2.95 per transaction. The 12% fee is just a gimmick to get you to signup and supposedly "undercut" the competition. Pretty lame tactic. Then they have a 10% holdback which most likely you'll never see. They also have a $25 chargeback fee. Sound's like a good ass fucking to me!
