Will you pay the $750.00 ????
Will you pay the $750.00 to keep Visa?
|
If you have over 750$ in rebills, you will :)
|
You should have made both answers YES just to piss people off.
|
LOL Mr.Fiction!
Good one! Hugs, Danielle |
Dont have much of a choice. Either pay or sit back and watch everyone else make the money
|
no... I will not pay.
|
My vote is no. I have a variety of reasons why.
- Too much indecision. All of these billers is interpreting the rules different except the 3 that got together and decided to price fix. - Not going to blindly hand over money. Whether it be $750 or ten fucking cents. - Not worth paying that to stay with a 3rd party that can't even offer protection any more. Its basically like having to get a merchant account yet still pay 15% Those are just some of the reasons. |
You pretty much have to if you have any real amount of active members.. Otherwise you're just throwing a lot of money away..
We'll be reluctantly paying em. Cheers, Backov |
Nope, for 2 reasons:
1. ACPay 2. Globill There are more of course, those are just the ones I'm using. |
Should probably have been an option for "Don't Have To". A lot of people will be voting "No" because it doesn't apply to them.
|
No.
Not because it's a lot of money. But because I refuse to support these business practices ... It's not about $750. I don't care if it was $20. This means they can change "the rules" again within 2 months and ask another $750 ... |

I voted NO though, simply because if I had a paysite I would drop the big3, and use a company with internation banking relationships. The rebills? E-mail them and explain the situation and hope they cancel and rejoin. Visa wants $500 now, next year they might want $600 and the processor wants $300 to pocket or whatever. It could keep climbing and climbing all the time. |
I'll be paying twice (don't want to keep all my eggs in one basket).
|
I'm thinking of using less sponsors that are 100% dependant on the big3.
You know scrubbing is going to increase and that puts rebills right in the toilet. The more pressure that is put on the sponsor the more bullshit gets passed on to the webmaster sending the traffic. |
Of course We Will!!!

$750 is nothing in this business...
so yes. |

x multi-processors (let's say 4) = $3000 x Mastercard future factor, with same 4 processors = $6k x any other cc's that follow suit, let's say 3 of them do = $9k Grand total so far = $15k plus annual renewal fees. but then, $750 is nothing in this business. Just keep bending over.... someone will keep fucking you. :glugglug oh, and don't forget.... one fuckup.... just one.... be it chargebacks or a disapproved url.... and it's all over. :Graucho |
oh yeah.... and take another 15% off the top for the processors for the privelege.... :glugglug

besides, one of them (Epoch) has already said, if you use a processor other than the Big 3, you will be terminated with extreme prejudice and not be allowed back. :) Quote:

Nope my sites are with Glo-bill (have been with since before this 'situation') so hopefully I am in the clear (depending on if Globill ever gets sucked up in the Visa red tape or not).
|
Wait so if one url gets disapproved then the entire account will be terminated? That makes little sense but none of this does anyway...
|
Nope.. not paying! For may reasons, but main one's are intrusion, unreliability, extension of over-restriicive laws/rules/privacy within the US. Ya gotta wonder why, out of all global banking regions, the US granted this "priviledge" to VISA in the first instance - just insane and in keeping with the current trend in favor of US corporates.
|
wow the score is 50-50
|
Glo bill :Graucho
|
Yep, going to pay it twice, first to IBill and then to PayPal when they get around to demanding it. We sell tangible products (dvds, video) and I haven't seen any alternatives posted that help me out, and last I checked, around 60% of sales were Visa.
