They are trying to bring back COPA again.

Why would the government let something like the constitution or the supreme court tell them they can't do this. The stubborn DOJ is at it again trying to "protect" the world.

Pete-KT 06-11-2008 08:36 AM

ADL Colin 06-11-2008 08:36 AM

Well that is cause it was 10 years since introduced it has come back from the dead many times and always has been shot down.

rather short article considering the topic.

I still fail to see how you could know a surfers age, even with a credit card number. Infact i wonder if they have even spoken to visa/mc etc , do they realise you dont have to be 18 to have a credit card, and age isnt sent between processing the card.

CE_Rashaan 06-11-2008 09:57 AM

This is scary... this is one of many reasons why you should be a FSC member!

SykkBoy 06-11-2008 09:59 AM

We need them as much as they need us...
without us, they'd have nothing to do and without them, we wouldn't be as taboo and therefor not as profitable...

Yep,isnt it funny the right wingers are always silent on these threads.

Sebring Studios 06-11-2008 10:46 AM

So if this happens wouldn't it bring back the old AVS model big-time?

tony286 06-11-2008 10:50 AM

The problem is the government sees all the free porn out and how its growing. So now we will all get butt fucked.

GatorB 06-11-2008 12:38 PM

Listen to the government turd

"Lawyers with the American Civil Liberties Union, representing Salon.com and other sites that challenged the law, argue that Internet filters block 95 percent of the offensive content, and can be set to match a child's age or a parent's judgment.

But only half of all families use them, Justice Department lawyer Charles Scarborough countered."

Whose fucking fault is that? If you don't want your kids to see porn and you CHOOSE not to use a filter then the person you should be blaming is YOURSELF.

Not the non-Americans

kenny 06-13-2008 06:28 PM

This won't work because off all the other countries

kenny 06-13-2008 06:33 PM

however,

if they could police all the free porn sites in the world it would probably be a blessing in disguise.

IllTestYourGirls 06-13-2008 06:34 PM

would you let your kid walk the streets alone? They why let them surf alone? Take charge of your own home and stop blaming others.

Many times? I recall twice. Is the entire reason we opened an AVS.

Say that to the on-line gambling industry ....

aico 06-13-2008 07:44 PM

Why don't they create laws that require parents to be more responsible for their children?

If they required a permit to have children most people would not pass.
