Do you think owning a strip club would be fun?
Seems like if you didn't die from 2nd hand smoke that would have to rock for a solid 10 years.
the gangsta lifestyle would be stressful I think :2 cents:
doesn't really sound like fun to me
Just managing the girls would be enough to kill you. The drama amongst strippers can be incredible.
I agree it would be a pain to try to manage the girls. I vote not fun - unless you had a killer manager that dealt with all the stress & wasn't stealing. haha

It takes a certain kind of a person to manage a club. What might look exciting for the first glimpse is just an exhausting routine in the long term.
I would definitely not choose to manage the club staff and girls, glad I care about the online / licensing part and there are other people to care about this. |
Lot more fun making your millions elsewhere and being Preferred Customer #1 at a strip club ;)
I'd love to own a strip club or cigar lounge or men's club..
But man I would do whatever I could to NOT own any of the current strip clubs in Toronto. |
no...................
I dunno if it would be fun... but its definetly on my "to do" List!
If you want to lose all your free time and start worrying to much yeah...
between payoffs and stripper drama...fuck no
I'm pretty close to the owner of the biggest Strip Club here in Quebec... Nothing But troubles..
Tons of money rolling in but the troubles are proportionally as high as the income... Want money? Open a Strip Club... Want Troubles? Well you guessed it : Open a Strip Club... |
It is a lot of hard work, but if you know what you are doing, then yeah it can be fun. I know a guy in San Deigo that has one, and he loves it, and does amazingly well with it.
He also has main stream companies that he owns as well. But the club is is main money. |

I used to work at a carwash in my early twenties, and one of the frequent customers was an elderly gentlemen who owned a local strip club.
He had on as much jewlery as mister T had on back in the day, and a gorgeous stripper on each arm. Damn I wish I was him |
I think I would rather own a nightclub or pub instead
If one of you open the club I will manage the girls and staff, and I wont steal.
So when do I start? |

Worked in strip clubs for over 14 yrs from doorman to manager. To make money and do well it's not a party its hard work and lots of patience.
Anything when done professionally is no longer "fun" :)
I think it would be more trouble then it's worth

Most successful strip clubs are owned by members of a certain dominating ethnic minority. If you don't have the DNA for that you will most likely fail.
you better have a strong pimp hand or employ someone that does.
Having been there done that for many yeas from working the door to managing to owning I can unequivocally say that for the first couple of weeks as owner it is pretty cool and then the slippery slope to a toal pain in the ass kicks in pretty damn quick.

all the drama and bullshit and cops and triflin stripper chicks and fights and liquor liscence drama and religious nuts and re-zoning. fuck all that. now, your BROTHER owning a strip club would KICK ASS. |
