345 Arrested in Child Prostition Ring
WASHINGTON - Hundreds of people have been arrested and 21 children rescued in what the FBI is calling a five-day roundup of networks of pimps who force children into prostitution.
The Justice Department says it targeted 16 cities as part of its "Operation Cross Country" that caps off five years of similar stings nationwide. Many of the children forced into prostitution are either runaways or what authorities call "thrown-aways" ? kids whose families have shunned them. Officials say they are preyed upon by organized networks of pimps who lure them in with shelter or drugs, then often beat, starve or otherwise abuse them until the children agree to work the streets. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080625/...ld_prostitutes |
Too much of this shit is happening all around the wold:mad:

well, at least the fbi took 300 shitbags off the streets... btw, the parents of the "throw away" kids should get the same sentance as the other people... |

The police use the media in these kinda cases with the big numbers and half of it turns out to be BS. Just look at the recent case in Texas where they went in and took all those kids from that religious compound, claiming there was wide spread child abuse. They get all this national media coverage for days if not weeks.. Then quietly a week or so ago, all the kids except "one" were returned to their families. So turns out they had evidence about "one" fucking kid yet they pulled 30 or 40 of them from their houses just because of guilt by association. I never believe anything in these kind of cases until the people are put on trial, because the cops and DA's these days live on media attention. |
yawn.
I can go outside and throw rocks at child prostitutes right now. They are all over Asia by the tens of 1000s. Nobody really cares. I mean, if they did, they would put all of these places out of business. Right? As a matter of fact, there is a little low class brother just down the road from me that has girls who look as young as 12. In Cambodia it's not uncommon to get offered an 8 year old girl. Nobody gives a fuck. They make a bust here or there to show all the money given to fund their team is justified, and then they go about their business. The same applies to any agency in any part of the world. It's all a dog and pony show with the end result being GET AS MUCH MEDIA COVERAGE AS YOU CAN about it. It makes everyone think you're doing a good job. Stroke, stroke, stroke. And it's not just in distant lands. When I lived in Ohio and was shooting black models from the hood, just about all of them tried to pimp their 13 - 15 year old sisters and cousins on me at one time or another for $100. They would say they have already been fucking for 4 and 5 years!!! It's an ugly world out there. |

I don't think killing is right, but I make an exception on children abusers. They don't deserve to be left alive. |

"In all, authorities arrested 345 people ? including 290 adult prostitutes ? during the operation that ended this week.
Hundreds of people have been arrested and 21 children rescued" "Operation Cross Country caps off five years of similar stings nationwide" 345 people... minus 290 adult prostitutes... minus 21 children... leaving 34 people arrested who were either pimps or johns or drug dealers or in the wrong place at the wrong time... We hear child prostitution and a number as high as 345 and react with horror. Break down the numbers and you've really got 21 children... some of which may not even have been prostituted... they could have been the children of someone else arrested and as such were taken into custody. I'm sure some of them were being abused, but it took 5 years of manpower and tax dollars to save 21 kids?!?! There are more than 21 kids being abused and/or raped EVERY SINGLE DAY. How many stories do you hear on a regular basis about kids being horribly abused and even murdered in the overwhelmed and underfunded foster care system? This is nothing more than another case of the government attacking the sex industry to further their crusade against it. What I want to know is... where's the "Operation Child Abuse" task force and when are they going to spend 5 years of manpower and tax dollars to save the kids being horrifically abused by the people who are supposed to be caring for them? I want to see 345 abusive foster parents arrested so I can sleep better at night. |

For instance, the busts in Miami Beach did not get any children. So those 5 people are in the total numbers but not involved with the kids. |
erm fucking sick shit.

They manipulate the media in a very cynical way. It will be interesting to look back on this in 12 months time and see what happened. Quote:
The US approach to prostitution makes it easier for people who want to exploit children to exist. The only way to control something is to bring it under the wing of legitimacy. Prohibition taught us one thing, making it illegal does not stop people wanting it and does not stop people supplying it. It makes it easier for criminals to operate. Make it legal and make the cost of running the company contribute to the control of the industry. It's not a 100% solution but it's better than making it illegal so criminals can operate. |
cops dont put a dent in any kind of real crime, it seems.
people who fuck with children should be locked away FOREVER in the good ol US prison system. (A fate I'd personally choose death over) cant give them the death penalty though or they're more likely to kill the kid. |
