First you people bitch when the computer is insecure, when they FINALLY make it secure, then that is bad too ??? :1orglaugh

Fuck, that's probably the reason why 3 PCs over here started having DNS problems at the same time lately. No anti-virus or anti-spyware was able to find the problem!!

It happened to me as well this morning. Ultimately I had to fully uninstall Zone Alarm and then reinstall to finally gain net access again. Wasted a good 90 minutes of my time figuring it out.

this appears to be a dns problem, so if you've got you're own servers chances are bind needs updating, i've just updated mine.

i'm not bitching at the problem, just at a wasted hour. you needed internet access to discover what the problem was.

DatingGameExpert 07-10-2008 02:10 PM

Yeah I got hit too! OMG VIRUS!!!

BuggyG 07-10-2008 02:49 PM

yeah had that too
it sets the level to HIGH.. effectively blocking all in and out
you have to go into options somewhere.. forgot.. have it at home
and set it to medium.. then everythign will be back to normal

Um dipshit it seems it's more of a problem with ZoneAlarm than MS.

GrouchyAdmin 07-10-2008 03:01 PM

Zone alarm: The worthless software product for someone who doesn't remember what got installed when they ran the k3yg3n and don't know about 'netstat'.
