Wordpress glitch - need help
Anyone know what would cause a bunch of wordpress blogs to suddenly have old posts starting to get weird characters appearing in them?
For instance, apostrophe's get replaced with weird characters, and sometimes words will be surrounded by characters like this: Â Seems to happen only on hand written posts too. I don't think my RSS feeds are being affected. Pain in the ass, I have been going back and editing old posts to get rid of them. |
Yeah, I noticed that too. I haven't done anything about it since it does interfere with much.

Really a pain in the ass. Seems like it just started this week for me. Affecting all my blogs which are on the same server. |
Yeah, I notice it after the I upgraded.

It happened to me first when I upgraded from WP 1.5 to the 2.0 platform and only on old posts.

Yup, caused by character encoding :) if you use utf-8 all the time however, you'll be fine.
