OMG today I came back from work early and I heard a noise coming from my son's room... So, you can imagine my surprise when I opened the door only to find him on his knees... He wasn't exactly praying...He was giving our priest a blow job... I guess that was after a confession...he had to repent...

It's really hard for me to believe that 12 years ago I was one of those people.

Some of this stuff is extremely disturbing.

I am almost at a loss for words .. I am amazed at how religion uses fear and ignorance to control what people think ..
I am in an on going debate with a family member who is JW ..and to have him look me in the face and say " I feel so sorry for you that you actually believe all this science and things that people are telling you .. I feel like you are living in the dark " ..

He of course told me to read "the book" so I would have a better understanding .. I love a good debate so I did .. then I found some articles regarding JW and how it is a cult and how they have changed their own religion numerous times over the last 60 years to correct "their ending of the world" never happening .. truly un fucking believable ..the debate goes on ..

Yeah if you don't agree with their version of the world as it is, then you're "deceived by Satan"

This whole "technology and science are two different things" argument is a new one though....I got out of the religion race before the internet/cell phones/etc so we never had those discussions.
So I guess from what I've read there that science had nothing to do with the invention of computers or programming code or anything else. :1orglaugh
