Fkn TushyCash. Just when you think you've found a good program...

Right off the bat I get an incoherent response
"u r?"

What is this fuckwit, seventeen or some shit?

LuxuryMan ‎(9:59 PM):
Good evening there..
EscortBizPro ‎(9:59 PM):
u r?
LuxuryMan ‎(9:59 PM):
Yea you I am just an affiliate.. tushycash
LuxuryMan ‎(10:00 PM):
How are you this evening?
EscortBizPro ‎(10:00 PM):
cool whats up
LuxuryMan ‎(10:01 PM):
I notice that the content sets often contain low quality junk and I need better ones... can you provide something a bit better? What I mean is, the thumbs don't even match some times, the video is encoded at a low quality..
EscortBizPro ‎(10:01 PM):
whats your aff ID?
LuxuryMan ‎(10:02 PM):
1715791
"letababy"
LuxuryMan ‎(10:04 PM):
I grabbed a set awhile ago and the content didn't even match the thumb
EscortBizPro ‎(10:04 PM):
I have been running this stuff for over 5 years and spend a fortune on updates I know what I do and if you dont like it dont promote me im not changing anything for nobody my model works
LuxuryMan ‎(10:04 PM):
Seems to me as if it was better just weeks ago
EscortBizPro ‎(10:04 PM):
good promote someone else
LuxuryMan ‎(10:05 PM):
After all of the work I just did building for you, that's your attitude? Are you sure?
EscortBizPro ‎(10:05 PM):
yes thats my attitude
dont want to do business with complainers
I know this business and noone spends more money than me on updates and on models
and on keeping things unique
you come here and tell me this shit
LuxuryMan ‎(10:06 PM):
So spend a fortune on the content and make the previews look like a 20 year old TV set picture.. you're short changing yourself
EscortBizPro ‎(10:06 PM):
listen while tons of guys came and went bankrupt im around
EscortBizPro ‎(10:07 PM):
so please your ideas on what works is wrong
try it and youll see
for now adios
LuxuryMan ‎(10:07 PM):
You treat your affiliates this way you obviously do not need us, right, why have a program?
You're drunk or what's the story?
EscortBizPro ‎(10:08 PM):
because most affiliates know their shit
you obviously dont
LuxuryMan ‎(10:08 PM):
I don't know my shit because I don't want to use garbage content sets where the thumbs don't even match
EscortBizPro ‎(10:08 PM):
ok good so go promote someone else that does match
a million programs out there
LuxuryMan ‎(10:10 PM):
I'll do that.. I'd recommend to you that in the future you would learn how to speak to one of your affiliates in an appropriate way

Don't worry deadbrain.. I just deleted all of the hard work I did for you. If you don't give a fuck about me, that's what I get for the work I did, fuck your program, too.

MrMaxwell 09-18-2008 08:35 PM

God damn that fucking pisses me off
I'd even have been willing to take the time to make my own thumbs if the videos were salvagable and if his attitude would have been coherent.
HAVE ANOTHER DRINK FUCKHEAD!

Va2k 09-18-2008 08:37 PM

Yes, yes it is.
And he's right about his content/sites. They're good, and damned good. But if the promo material is liquified shit and if his attitude is horrible, what can you do.. How the fuck would you trust an assfuck like him to even pay you? I can see it now, it takes a dislike to me because I offered some constructive critisizm and BLAM no payment. Flagged for fraud or some bullshit. I can see it now.

I see everyone else on here venting on a daily basis..
If I want to complain about something ONCE EVERY FEW FUCKING YEARS I fucking WILL. Besides, people need to know about shit like this, I could have used a warning before doing all of that work building pages for him.

Sly 09-18-2008 08:43 PM

Your first real statement with the guy was an insult and a demand... if somebody did that to you, how would you reply? There was a tactful way to go about that situation, what you did was not it.

Try something like:
Hi, I would like to promote some of your sites. I was looking through your content and I can't quite find the right material for what I am planning on doing... would you be able to help me out? What I really need is XYZ. Is that possible?

No no I called the PROMO MATERIAL junk. His content is fucking good content. You're right about things being too easy for affiliates. Program owners go off spending hundreds starting a program and the affiliates have the balls to take 50-70%. At least the owners usually have other ways of making money from the program, though.

MrMaxwell 09-18-2008 08:49 PM

For the record..
THE SITES/CONTENT ARE GREAT
THE PROMO MATERIAL IS A LITTLE FUCKED
THE ATTITUDE IS NOT ACCEPTABLE

If you don't mind bitching up to a real king sized asshole, the sites are great.

That's not the best way to approach someone. Next time use, "...contain low resolution pictures and I need better ones." Some people have sensitive ego's, so if you call their content "junk," they may not take it well.

Agreed, I was doing my best to be friendly, was not easy after the "u r?"
I think the worst part was working with seemingly good quality and then finding out alot of them have mismatched thumbs and horrible quality. Hell of a disappointment.

I agree. I would respond the exact same way. I strongly urge this guy to NOT sign up and promote my products either. I don't want to deal with some dramatic fuckstick. I'd rather pay someone else 10% more and get HIS traffic over this guy and not deal with it.

Escortbiz is amazing, and I've made a lot of money off him over the years. He knows what he is doing and doesn't need to explain that to anyone. Trust me.

I wish more people would do business this way. Cut out the bullshit and just tell it like it is. Gone are the days of real webmasters and it's sad. Remember when webmasters had to pay for content, hosting, design, etc... NOW they get it all for free and they still bitch.

Some people type that way so they can quickly say something while they are busy. Typing "u r?" is a lot quicker then "Hello, you aren't on my icq list, who exactly are you?". After saving yourself the trouble 100+ times or so it could save you a good amount of time. Also quite a few people have carpal and/or arthritis. To those people it could save themselves a lot of pain by typing that way.

So just because someone types that way doesn't mean they are some dumb rude kid with poor grammar.

Man this thread is not good at all. Kiss and make up already man. We are suppose to be helping each other in this business not insult the shit of each other man.

They are only fuckin words, brush them off & take it like a man. Imagine if all CEO's told their staff if you're not happy fuck off, I would not like to work for someone like this. I am not taking anyones side in this story, you guys are both wrong. Mr Maxwell, no need to come on GFY and insult tushy & is program, I think you might be the 17 yo here. If all CEO's did as much for their employees as this industry does for it's affiliates then by all means, they should have the right to tell the employee to fuck off. :2 cents:

gornyhuy 09-18-2008 09:40 PM

Seems to me you were a prick form the get go and he wasn't in the mood to take any shit.

Of all the programs I have ever worked with, TushyCash and EB is top notch, has unique niche content, his promo materials convert, and his sites rebill like crazy. He treats his affiliates right, goes out of his way to give out unique content, and his crew is always responsive and available to help affiliates.

I'm not even doing any affiliate promo work anymore so it does me no good to kiss ass, but by the way I'm still getting 3 year old rebills from Tushy.

Ok, is program is top notch & he is probably a millionaire because of who? is affiliates, no need to come here and tell Mr maxwell to fuck off. He is suppose to show a good example, he is the boss not an affiliate, this is the position he is in & he will have to deal with guys like Mr maxwell once in a while. I think tushy might just need to take a course in anger management, you probably need it.

MrMaxwell 09-18-2008 10:03 PM

I can't see that it treats its affiliates right..
I've never had a program owner speak so rudely to me.

By the way, I understand people being busy, if it is that busy it could have a hotkey greeting or autogreeting... it's supposed to know what it's doing, yea?

MrMaxwell 09-18-2008 10:06 PM

Like I've said.. the tushy cash sites are well put together and the content is really very good. Maybe some of you will want to promote him, maybe he will have some new business from this thread.. I don't mind that, I just want to warn everyone of what they might end up dealing with.

Antonio 09-18-2008 10:09 PM

this is entertaiiiiiinment

bhutocracy 09-18-2008 10:35 PM

This thread delivers.. It's usually best not to start out calling the program owner's efforts "junk" while you're trying to get him or someone on his team to spend several hours helping you.

MrMaxwell 09-18-2008 10:50 PM

I didn't want several hours of anything, just a coherent response letting me know where I could find some decent promo material.. One would imagine that properly formatted content sets with at least usable quality content and matching thumbnails would HELP HIS PROGRAM as much as it ever could me.

Says to me basically "I work hard and spend a fortune but I can't even handle creating content sets properly"...
Fuck me man get serious why do all of that just to make yourself look bad with inconsistant filenames, mismatched thumbs and ridiculously low quality video?

What, you wanted me to go into the members area and get content I'm not even cleared to use, right? If I did that you'd be even more pissed off..

I agree, very well said

SpicyM 09-19-2008 02:06 AM

No matter what program he runs, he should be a professional and not talk like 16 years old arrogant child. Saying "fuck off" (especially publicly) to an affiliate who did not say anything bad from the program owner/manager is stupid and low.

I am sorry to see such attitude, I have never had any affiliate manager to talk like that. Its the affiliates that make him money so where is the love and respect? I tell you he would react differently if the program were new, really..

shermo 09-19-2008 02:09 AM

Tushycash is a high end program. I just looked at my stats and over the last 3 years, I have averaged $66.32 a sale. I don't know of many programs that can provide a cost per sale that high.

All you had to do was request members access to grab your own content and select your own clips and/or photos. This works for most sponsors, and you can avoid any sort of confrontation like this. :)

Given you've got access to the promo material and you couldn't find anything you liked, how do you think "decent" promo material was going to be provided for you? It wasn't going to be conjured up out of thin air. Someone was going to have to specially make you something. Or start changing the whole way they do things. I'm not saying thats a good or a bad thing, but if you want special treatment that other webmasters aren't getting it's usually best not to insult the person you're asking a favour of even if you think it's in their best interests too.

Originally Posted by MrMaxwell (Post 14777982)

Yep. But have a bit of a think about the way to go about doing that. Normal people, or at least someone trying to get what they want, would say something along the lines of:
"Heya, great program you've got here, i'm going to try and push your stuff as it's fantastic, just noticed a couple of bugs though - some of your thumbnails aren't matching and some of the content sets aren't formatted properly as evidenced *here* and *here*. I know it's a big operation and these things happen while you're trying to help provide us with the tools we need, but I thought i'd better let you know there were a few mistakes that are getting released into the wild you might want to tighten up or try to fix if you have time - just trying to help! A sign up here and there adds up! Also wondering if you had any higher quality screen caps or thumbs laying around? possible access to the member's area maybe if you'd prefer I try and arrange that myself? - cheers!"

Now the program owner has a chance to reply nicely or to pass on this information to the guys doing the promo material and try and get it fixed because you've conducted yourself in a positive and professional manner and if you've got some history with the program, or the program is big enough to do it for anyone that asks, they might do something extra for you like access to extra content or make special promo material for you.

I don't know a program in the world that's going to respond very positively to "Hey I was looking through the junk you call promo material - ie your life's work which i'm taking a big dump on - and really it's shit.. you don't know me, i've never made a sale to you program or done anything with you in the past but.. y'know.. start encoding all your shit at xyz and abc if you want me to push you"

Most programs will still respond professionally, but it's ironic you're talking about him looking bad and not getting results when you've achieved the exact same scenario yourself.

While you're telling him how to run his site he's looking at his daily stats showing wads of cash raining in. Regardless of whether he's right or wrong, he's spending a large amount of time and effort creating the promo material, he's looking at the cash raining in and then he's looking at your msg telling him what he's doing is junk and he'd make money doing it this way. Most people aren't going to respond to that whether what you're saying is valid or not. What he's doing is obviously working. It's not like his program is floundering and you've found the splinter in the tiger's paw that is going to make it all right again and turn the ship around for him.

He obviously doesn't think he looks bad. He's got affiliates bringing money in, he's cracking it in that niche and just because technology is progressing and some sponsors are offering higher res and longer videos doesn't change the fact that what he's offering isn't "junk". When he says go someonewhere else, he means it. He dictates how he runs his business right or wrong, and he's obviously doing something right. There are many programs all competing in a crowded space, go with someone who has the material you want to work with. If you can't be constructive don't bother.. catch more flies with honey and all that, tbh even though I don't agree with how the situation was handled, I don't see how you could think you're the injured party here, he mostly replied in kind to your initial insults. The affiliates that "built his program for him" aren't likely talking about how much his work sucks to him on icq, they're just getting on with making money, and he would treat them professionally.

bhutocracy 09-19-2008 03:18 AM

I don't even know why i'm spelling this out.. It's basic commonsense.. This isn't the 8th grade as much as gfy makes it look that way... Think about you way you communicate, you don't need to get Honours in neurolinguistics and ancient egyptian hypnotherapy to know how to approach a sponsor professionally. Didn't ignorant pig fearing sand people millenia ago stop sacrificing goats for a second to notice that you should do unto other as you would have them do unto you?

"Hey Maxwell, this is Escortbiz, I've been looking at the junk you call sites that you're building to promote us with.. They're crap with broken tags everywhere and poor spelling in the text.. what can you do to fix up that crap so we'll let you promote us?"

MrMaxwell 09-19-2008 05:08 AM

Yea well that's usually me..
Usually would have been more of this "Might want to have your web guys look over the promo content.. some of it seems to be mismatched and the quality isn't very good". But when you get some jerkoff with the "u r?" you assume you've got some $2000/yr third world "affiliate manager" like you've dealt with 1000 times. I am not too very patient with that shit any more. That or young people.

Making alot of money is great.. if someone notices something that could help you make more, listen to them.

BlackCrayon 09-19-2008 05:25 AM

If you're doing your job right you shouldn't need "top notch" quality content to sell the site. That said when i promoted tushycash a lot of the sets looked like movie caps. Even still, the galleries got accepted at tgps and sales came in. I"m still getting sales 3 years later off them. So EscortBiz does know what hes talking about.

The Duck 09-19-2008 05:28 AM

no one will take your side, everyone will stick up for the program owners around here, no matter what... people will ass kiss a program owner even when they dont even push or promote the guys stuff.

Sosa 09-19-2008 08:30 AM

I've been with TushyCash for a very long time. Pretty much since EB opened up the program. Never had a problem with him at all. Sure some of the videos that are cut up are lower quality but it is working for them. Did you ask if you could cut up your own clips from higher res videos?

That doesn't sound like the EB that I've talked to over the years. You coming right at him and his business set him off it looks like.

Just want to make this clear.. I don't give a fuck about kissing ass... I shouldn't even be piping up in case people think I condone swearing at affiliates.. This is just an amusing thread.. Someone completely oblivious about how rude they were being complaining about what they instigated. It's like an elderly driver plowing through an intersection without looking and leaving an accident in their wake and shaking their head at the "hooligans" smashed up in the rear view mirror.
He still thinks being spoken to in common text speak is justification for his rudeness.
