What's the most fun pc game you've ever played?
 

The MMO I play keeps crashing and Im looking for a new one.
What's a good game I can play that can keep me occupied for months?

I almost can't stand playing any of the new versions of it these days.

Not what you'll be looking for, but the game i used to play for hours on the PC was Half Life. Loved it !!

Don't play any games on here now though. I have a PS3 for that kinda stuff... ;-)

Command & Conquer is still a pretty decent series. Don't know about most fun, as I never played that many PC games, but still.

The Half-Life series are good for single player, both 1 and 2. Counter-Strike 1.6 and Source :) , COD4, and Starcraft for multiplayer.

Start with Usenet or pleasuredome and get a full MAME rom set...
or a full TG16/SNES/NES/MEGADRIVE set... Discovering hidden gems from the past is almost better than the actual time spent playing the games.

Its like collecting + gaming.

Been playing since closed beta. Pretty decent. It definitely killed my WoW addiction. I was looking for a replacement though.

Pleasuredome is not private and its the best tracker I've ever found for console roms and MAME. Great community too.

If you know wich groups to look for you can get most of what you need much quicker on usenet though.
