Testing testing... Is this thing on? Now I just need a Blackberry FTP client so I can post pics from strange places :)

I figured out I can upload photos to Myspace using Opera... Pretty sick eh? I thought so too.

Opera mini is great. I love my BB.

Is this the first time you use a Blackberry?

I love my BlackBerry. I agree with the Opera Mini comment. Love it.

I much prefer surfing on my iphone over my old curve. Just my 2 cents anyways :)

Welcome to 2004

I'm waiting for the BlackBerry Bold to get mainstream acceptance so it'll be free with a 3 year contract :) Then I think i'll break down and get on board with a smartphone.

Does anyone know what the Bold release date is?

There has been no official announcement from ATT as of yet. Apparently the phone uses some sort of new-fangled protocol that the current generation of ATT network infrastructure doesn't yet support... Except for in a few select areas.

The official rumor is that they're waiting for the network to come up to speed compatibility-wise before they bring this product to the market.

I've had it for 10 months now. I'm quite happy with it... Just waiting on the Bold to be released... Hopefully soon!

I've considered ordering it... I swore I would when it dropped with Rogers... But the more I thought about it, the more I didn't see enough of a reason to drop $700+ shipping on a new phone when it will likely be quite a bit cheaper when it comes to AT&T... And considering it doesn't really do anything my current 8310 doesn't already do (well, besides 3G and a 480x320 display...) I just haven't pulled the trigger yet.

what are some good apps for the curve?

My "essentials" are Opera Mini, Google Maps, Gmail, Google Talk, AIM, Yahoo IM (the real AIM and Yahoo, not the OZ client that uses SMS instead of data).

I also use Yahoo Go for it's RSS reader, although I rarely use it.

Also thinking of getting a BlackBerry.

The iPhone 3G is a total disapppointment with it's non preloaded maps for GPS

I love my BB and have been using it for YEARS!....which one do you have? I have the 8830 but very curious about the STORM coming soon....kick ass!

why is it that only americans seem to use blackberries and sidekicks?

I know its a rip, but I had to pay 399 with a new 3 yr contract, but I'm happy with the phone. Cant really complain about the service , works everywhere I go , so all is good:thumbsup
