starting out in the industry
 

Hi Guys,

This is my second adult site www(.)toz(.)net. Its been running for about 2 weeks and averages a few hundred visits a day.
It's still very much a work in progress. I was hoping for some general suggestions of where the site needs some improvement and how to get the traffic up from a few hundred to about a thousand a day. Would you say directory submissions is the way to go or backlinks? I've only got a limited budget.. As you all know times are tough!

Any feedback/comments would be appreciated. Also if you would like to place some of your affil embeds or upload a couple of videos feel free!

A few tips:

1. Content is the key. Generate a lot of pages with your keywords.
2. Make it easier to comment on the vids. Why do they need to become a member of your site? People that visit porn sites don't like to be known.
3. Tube sites do not convert very well. Your niche is very general. I personally would choose a better niche than 'free porn'.
4. Off course getting links is something that you should work on. Does the word 'prod' rings a bell? Do not start buying traffic until you have a good marketing plan for your site.

Just a few tips. Use them if you want or simply ignore them.

The best suggestion for a niche is What do YOU like.. Then take that idea and see how well it sells. Search around and do a bit of reading.

Its ok to have more than 1 niche., but do it by page and not jumbled. The only way to jumble it and get away with it is, a page of Top Picks by surfers. Then it would be mised..
