Only thing I want to know about revised 2257 .......

have they cleared up the part about foreign girls shooting in the US being required to have US gov't issued photo ID? i know some shooters have continued shooting Euro and Canadian girls but I know some under the advice of their lawyer haven't. It's ridiculous - a Canadian or UK or Czech gov't issued photo ID should be all that's required. I don't even see the rationale for not accepting foreign ID's for foreign talent.

nothing has changed, when it comes to this section, that we are aware.

I would like to see the govt mandate that ALL tube site owners have to maintain 2257 records for ALL scenes on their sites.

Give them the same clerical obligations that those of us who actually produce the content have to legally adhere to, and then we can finally be rid of them for good!

2257 does not apply outside of the USA, so good luck getting "rid of them for good!" with _ANY_ US legislation.

I hear what you're saying, but I would venture to bet you there are more US run tube sites than most are willing to admit.

So... I want to know what the Tube, Torrent, and sharing forums compliance details will be?

And can we make this work for us... It is obvious that that they don't obtain proper docs but do they just copy our 2257 link and post it with the stolen materials.

Or just make up a link to a fake doc and carry on?

should be interesting.

Oh, there's no doubt many if not most are run from the US. I'm just saying single country legistlation, even if it gets the largest number, still only applies to one country.

What really needs to be done is change to international copyright law and new DMCA.

Again, I agree with you, but there are lots of non-US sites that are adding 2257 pages now, in order to comply with many US requirements - from some of our billing companies, to hosted galleries, to toplists, etc.

If the major US based processors would make 2257 a requirement as well, then more sites would have to comply in order to get US traffic and sales.

Of course there will always be rogue sites, but forcing most to comply, would cut way back on the number of tubes there are currently, and perhaps dissuade others from springing up like the fucking industry-killing weeds that they've now become..
