Any "Lethal Weapon" fans out there?
 

I can watch the movies over and over again, just playing the first one for the x th time.

Don't think it's gonna change anytime soon since it lasts for about 15 years already.

Although I praise the first one as the best it sure is a series it's follow ups are just excellent.
Last year I bought me a "director's cut" collection of all of them.

More voices around that agree it's a classic?

I think the first one was a classic. The second was very good and the third one was weak to me. Danny Glover and Mel Gibson had great chemistry like the end scene in the second one.

I agree the second one was a very successful departure to bring in more comedy moments and the third one is probably the weakest, although still pretty good especially if you are a die hard fan (hah yeah I'm a "Die Hard" fan too).

hahah Lethal Weapon was awesome. In fact, thanks for the reminder about it... gonna have to rent it/them soon.

Great movies but 3 is without a doubt the worst. 4 was the funniest but watching the old man fight Jet Li was weird. 1 during the suicide moments and Glover wondering how crazy his new partner is its GREAT

I love Glover spouting the greatest line ever: "I'm getting to old for this shit"

Yeah you're probably right, the 4th one is the only one I saw just once and I had a great time, gotta see that one again soon.

Since the first time I saw these movies I want to drive a F350 and live on a beach in a caravan. .

I worked on Lethal 3. Had a blast. Good people to work with. Danny Glover is like 14 inches taller then Mel LOL

Don't forget it was the one and only Eric Clapton recording some of the music for the movie!

the directors cut of the first movie had a great unused bonus scene of Mel in a school yard going up against a sniper. I can't figure out why they didn't use that scene in the first cut of the movie, it was awesome!!!

And you're right, I can watch it anytime and will be great 50 years from now...and more!

Great movies, held up alright over the years. Though it's funny now seeing Gary Busey as the bad guy in part 1.

I remember this scene, but I thought I remembered it from when it was in the theaters.
I worked in a movie theater when I was 16 and Lethal Weapon was one of the first films release after I started the job. Saw it several times while it was out. Gotta love the Three Stooges stuff Mel does at the Christmas Tree place at the beginning.

They never get old. It seems that Showtime is always showing one of those 4 every other week. Gotta agree that best was the first one, and funniest was the 4th.

Gotta love that scene where they're all on that gas and Chris Rock confesses to Glover "Whoa baby! Your baby is having my baby!" LOL
